My only trip in years to Columbus without a Glock. Never again.

A guy saw a post on a friends Facebook and swears he saw them being ridden along the road in Pataskala. But that's only 10 miles from my cousins where they were stolen.

Not sure where you got your info on H&M trail system but there is so much two wheel riding and single track to ride for multiple day's of riding.
I would never pass up a Hatfield/McCoy trip for Wayne. There is absolute NO comparison. Ride Buffalo Mtn. down at Matewan has the singletrack to meet your needs plus Matewan is a cool town and everyone is friendly and helpful.
Hey thanks for the information. I was going on youtube videos that I found, but that's why I thought I'd ask.

Thanks for sharing the video.
I'm heading down there to ride 9/3 and 9/4. It's been over 20 years since I've been there trail riding.
Got a question, are there any single track trails? If so what staging area would get me to tight stuff? Was going to try the Hatfield and McCoy trails but what I saw online is a parade of UTV's. I've got a hall pass for Labor Day so need to go riding somewhere.

I did a harbor freight trailer, they do bolt together.
When you assemble the trailer, the bearings will be in the hubs, but they have hardly any grease in them. thats what alot of people don't check, and thats why the bearings fail so soon. so when you get it, pull the bearings and pack with good grease. no need for bearing buddies.
You can also buy a full set of backup bearings from redtrailers.com they are 25mmx52mm taper bearing
Add a HF wheel chock on top of a plywood deck and your good to go.
JUST REMEMBER TO PULL AND PACK THE BEARINGS WHEN PUTTING IT TOGETHER
Lots of good information here. I bought a VERY similar trailer from Meijer over 20 years ago. Bearing had enough grease to keep them from rusting on trip from china. I pulled 3 MX bikes thousands of miles per year for several seasons. I always had peace of mind that I had a spare tire and spare bearings. One day I went to swap bearings before a trip and the 1" spare bearings wouldn't fit. As stated above they were metric, I sweated the whole trip knowing my spare bearing were now useless. FWIW I have never had any luck with HF tires lasting, they dry rot prematurely.

Greetings 5axisrider, from some pothole infested land north of YOU. My wife is from Columbus so I like to take my bike along on family visits there. Wish I could make the Epic Ride but chance of getting any time off work are slim at best (middle of a plant expansion that is months and tens of millions over). My bike is for transportation only as I can't enjoy the roads here in Michigan.

I've always liked the Ninja 500 and GS500's for beginners. Plenty of low end power and while rough around the edges they run forever.

If you think a Gen2 FZ1 might be to much, how about a VERY CLEAN Gen1. This is as clean as you'll find. Ridden by a lil' old lady on Sundays in Florida. They have been known to go well over 200k miles.

Jeff was on a Stratoliner. The basic gist of the story that I got was that he ran up hot on the bike in front of him swerved right and hit the white line. The white line was wet and slick. End of story.
Geesh he really toughed it out right there.
Was that the bike being loaded up on a trailer (swapped with FZ6) at Crossroads Sunday AM? Didn't look like much damage to bike, right sidecase mostly. Hope he heals fast.

Who else is compulsively checking the forecast?
I checked last week and it was great...... Half a day later it was rain every day. Hope I didn't jinx us.

I've used Ken a few times for parts. Two years ago I needed tires so I asked a local and he sent me to ...
129 Motorcycle Pitstop
4371 Calderwood Hwy
Maryville, TN 37801
865-856-0640
Might want to call ahead, they don't have the selection Ken Wheeler has but price and service were very good.

I'm betting IF it comes it will be several years yet. With the huge success of the FZ09 it is only logical to trademark a designation just in case.

Cabin rented...... see ya down there.

Yeah. Two Ducs. A red 1098 and a white/red Monster S4Rs.

Yup saw you guys. Looked like you slowed when we went by.

That's awesome.

Had a great time. Glad I was able to get to Newark by 2. Guess I better stay away from the bar when I need to be up at noon.
-
Looks like I missed this ride. Wifes niece wanted to close the bar last night and I'm still in bed at 12:30. Sorry wanted to meet more of you guys.
-
If anyone has a gopro I have a mount on my helmet if you want me to follow you for a little
No thanks mistakes in the digital age live on forever!

lol ok well I will be at Iron Pony at 1pm. Look forward to meeting you guys there.
Wife and I are heading to Columbus in a few hours, so she can visit family. Was going to head to WV on Saturday but meeting up with you guys would be more interesting then a solo ride. See ya at 1pm.

Much more effective then shooting 2 shotgun blasts into the air.

his target is a group of ignorant/dumb people called the majority who will accept that as a compromise about rights and think that's not so bad.
Where is this MAJORITY that I keep hearing about. Maybe on the east coast and California? When we are sitting around with family or talking at work it appears that I'm with the minority on most issues in the news.

My thinking is no matter how perfect a citizen you are, once an investigation was completed that you would be guilty of something.
Stolen WR250F 2009 from Reynoldsburg

The WR was found. The KTM is still gone. They were both seen being ridden in the Pataskala area. Might make out ok as the DA is charging the punk with theft of both bikes. If he coughs up the KTM I'd probably ask the DA for misdemeanor charges and restitution instead of the felony they are pursuing.
