  1. A turd is a turd. It could have been any bike / car over the line that far in the middle of a turn and I would have posted it. The fact that it is a 3 wheeled turd just fits the profile of what we usualy see down there. It is one thing to see it in a randrom video. But to see it on the day you were there, on a turn you went through just a short time ago, makes you hate them even more.

That said, we also came across a few really cool Harley riders that went out of their way to let us by. So kudos to them.

  2. I'm rolling out a week early. Heading to see friends and fam along the way while finding a few nice roads when I can. Over to NC first, through SC, and then Northorn GA to visit my parents in their new place.... Which happens to only be an hour and a half from the Gap. I'll catch the rest of you next Thursday at the resort. Have a safe trip down.

  3. We did not make it far out of Millersburg on 83 south before someone went down. I did not really know anyone so I can't tell you who it was. It was not ninjadoc. Bike was not rideable (missing front wheel?). Rider was awake with no visably broken bones. He had on gear. I was in the rear a good turn or two away with a few other riders and a car or two in front of me. A lady that had been passed by some of our group a few miles back was there and yelling. Just a bad day for all involved. I rolled out. If someone in the know can put up an update on his condition that would be nice. Hope he is ok. Safe ride home for everyone else.

  4. Add me to the list of happy customers. Spooned on some new tires and swapped out some oil while he was at it. Good guy. Good prices. I'll definitely use him again in the future.

  5. I'm in. I plan on taking the week and riding down early again. I really enjoyed the (2 day) ride down this year. The ride back is a bit rushed (1 day) but it was still a good time.

  6. I have what looks to be a pretty serious offer from Colorado (Cycle Trader). He is going to pay the shipping. We are at $8,350. He is trying to get to the dealer on Thursday to make sure he is comfortable with the size before he commits. He has not sat on one yet. Should not be an issue.

If anyone in Ohio is interested this might be your last chance to speak up.

  7. **Sold**

    Miles: 8,850+
    Condition: Excellent
Tires: New Michelin Pilot Activ Front & Rear
    Extras:
    - Triumph Engine Guards
    - Triumph Radiator Guard
    - Powerbronze Clear Sports Screen (215mm)
    - Black Imola CNC Bar End Mirrors
    - Manual
    - 2 Keys
    - 3 Matching Locks (used if you purchase luggage / bags)

The bike was in for service a few weeks ago for an oil change, new tires front & rear (about 300 miles on them now), and new rear brake pads. The bike was purchased from Hardings Park Cycle in Canton, Ohio and they have done all of the service on the bike. I can pull the service records from them if you would like to see them.

I just put the original mirrors and windscreen back on it but the other options are included. No lay-downs, drops, dents, dings, scratches, etc. Never ridden off road. There are a few vinyl stickers on the chain guard that will come off without issue or damage. Check the pictures and come out and see it for yourself (Rootstown, OH). It really is in excellent condition.

Low balls will be ignored. I do not NEED to sell it. It is an awesome bike and I'll keep it before I let it go for less then it is worth. Look around (craiglist, cycle trader, ebay, etc) and you will find price is very fair.

Serious inquiries only. No trades. No test rides (unless I know you). Shoot me a PM with any questions you have and I'll be happy to answer them.

  8. I rode a little bit through high shool and college . Fast forward 10 years and I purchace a new dual sport Triumph. The paperwork took forever and by the time I left it was just about dark with just the finance guy, the salesmen (Parks Cycle, Tommy Mac), and I at the dealership. I had my temp but had not taken the MSF yet. So no getting caught riding after dark. The salesmen tried to talk me out of riding it home until I took my class (that coming weekend). *fuck that* I thought to myself. As I was leaving the dealer I took a very wide left turn on my new ride as I relaized I had forgotten how to turn at low speed. I rode into the parking lot across the street. I thought about stopping and backing up as the only option in front of me was through the gress... hell with it. Went through the grass and back out onto the street.

Little did I know the salesman saw the whole thing. He still gives me a good natured rub everytime I bump into him. I told him I was testing out the dual sport suspension and we both got a good laugh out of it.

  9. I came up from behind that tiger on a tiger, and he was following that car, so I just eased on by as demonstration how to avoid having your fun stopped by some sedan and dual parallel yellow lines.  Just scooted on by and kept on having fun.

Disclaimer:  This was closed course under supervision from professionals.

Ha. I had passed that car about 10 miniutes prior. I stopped at an overlook because I thought I saw some of our group there. Once I got back on the road I came across him again. I felt like a dick passing him on the double yellow twice in 10 minutes so I was just hanging back. Until you came up on me there was no one behind me so I was not worried about it. They turned off about a mile later. I did mutter *crazy fucker* to myself as you scooted around on the outside of a semi blind turn.
