Wish you were closer. I could use the front triple stand.

Will also fit 2006-2007 bikes as well. These are the same just 10mm longer.
Thanks for the assist

Thank mgossel! I'm leaning toward the Annitori right now, even with the $30 higher price point. I have yet to read a negative review of their quickshifter or any of the HM quickshifters.
I am a little worried that a quickshifter will screw up how I've grown accustom to shifting, but it will be another learning curve like GP shifting.
Anytime...just make sure you get the right length shift rod before you place your order. That's the one thing I didn't get correct when I purchased it, but they had a new one at my door 2 days later.
Cheers,
Mike

Anyone have experience with the Annitori RL or Dano's Performance stand alone quickshifters?
I have the Annitori RL on my bike (R6) and absolutely love it. Worth every penny and easy to install. Shifting through the gears is so smooth.

Going to my first twilight tomorrow night at Mid-Ohio, 9/14. Anyone else going? I've only done one Intermediate session but I'm running 1:50-1:52 laptimes now so I figure I should be fine. Might be a little chilly at 66 though!
Also, does anyone who rode the last Mid-Ohio twilight remember if a tall guy in black leathers wrecked a red/black 1998 Honda 900RR?
I also got an invite to a free Mid-Ohio trackday on Oct 7th for riding more than four trackdays this year! Anyone been to one of these?
I will be there tomorrow. Twilights are a blast.
I was at last years customer appreciation day and who complain about a free trackday? Already signed up for the 7th. Sign up before all of the spots are taken.

Me and a buddy just signed up for Grattan as well. Both of us have never been there. Look forward to finally meeting some folks from the OH forum. I will be at Mid Ohio the next two days as well.

Welcome...I am in Dayton as well and will be heading to Mid Ohio this weekend. See you there

If you feel you're ready, ask one of your Coaches for their opinion. I've had to bump down a few riders this year from Intermediate to Novice. While Mid-Ohio's registration process allows the customer to choose their riding group, we reserve the right to ensure the safety of others by placing you with your appropriate skill level. Personally, I've always seen it as a confidence booster to have a coach give you the thumbs up and tell you that you are ready. Also, there was no putting around for the faster guys in Novice on Tuesday. From the first session on, both of my students were riding very well and were never inhibited by the slower guys.
Look for me. I'm Justin (with the blue LongDogRacing leathers, #53 on a black GSXR600), I'll gladly give you a candid assessment of your riding, and do my best to prepare you for the next group.
Yeah, I was bummed to see Randy bin his XR1200! It was a great looking bike!
I would have to agree with LongDogRacing on this. Get in the "fast" group of the Novice and see how you handle that. If you are comfortable with the pace the instructor sets, ask him to evaluate you to move up to intermediate in the afternoon. The speeds very in intermediate, but it makes it easier if you know that a guy has consistent lines in the event of a pass.

Annitori RL Quick Shifter would be nice

I did my own photography with my go-pro.
Instructions as follows...tuck front end flying into turn 10, tumble across pavement like a frozen turkey shot out if a cannon, have bike/camera spin around in the grass to catch the whole ordeal. Have corrective wrist surgery and repeat in August.
Funny thing is my left hand sticking out in the pic is what slammed into the ground during my tumble and broke my wrist.
Wow...I guess this answers my question about the 3rd and 4th. Heal up quick bud.

how does it handle a full grown adult. really been looking for a pit bike
If it helps, I have two XR 70s I use as pit bikes. Both for adults.

You gonna be out at Mid O next week?
Yeah man, I am signed up for the 13th and 14th. Me and the old lady will be there early Monday. You?
-
Looks a lot better than mine bud. Can't wait to see it.

There's going to be a racing series? I hadn't heard that!
Todd had posed the question to the riders a few track days prior if there was interest. It seemed to be unanimous. We will see what happens.
Had a blast this season gents! My first track season and I am hooked. Thanks to longdogracing for helping me out all season and donkason for working on passing with me.
Can't wait to see what next season has to bring.

Haha! :pI sent you an email instead of PM
-
Cephas, I called Mid Ohio and put my name on there. I will have to send you a PM with my information in apparently 120 minutes.
-
Cephas, I am trying to PM you but I keep on getting this message "You may only post 1 messages every 120 minutes".
I had a few questions.

Here you are:
How'd that butt-cam turn out?
It just showed me how much more work I have to do to get better.
The Go Pro has been a great tool for me to learn from though. Thanks for pics.

Dizzledan, do you have any pictures of me with the black and yellow helmet with the sun on one side and the moon on the other? R6 with white/black/yellow and pitpull stickers on each side. #007

Had a blast fellas...Monday was amazing weather with great riding. I was nervous for Tuesday, but it turned out to be great day. The track walk was awesome, it puts the track into a whole new perspective. It looks totally different when you are not riding your bike on it. Needless to say, I was exhausted and my legs are killing me.
Shout out to Donkason (Mike), had a blast working on passing and trying to catch ya. Oh, your avatar is driving me crazy. My head keeps twisting back and forth next to you.
Thanks to Justin (longdogracing) for getting me hooked to the track and put up with me for the whole Summer. Learned a lot from you and appreciate you taking the time to help me out.
Can't wait till next year fellas.
