  1. I have someone coming to pick up a desk today between 4-5. Hopefully it will be closer to 4 so I can get it done and head up there. I'm only 15 min away so as long as he's out of here by 5:10 I'll be there at 5:30. I really wanna go cuz I'm moving out of state Friday, loading the bike tomorrow, this will be my last Ohio ride :(

  2. I might be able to make it as well

Might be able to make this, anyone down this way wants to ride up together let me know. Maybe some back roads after.

If I go I can meet up with ya, I'm pretty close. Hey then we'd have the 2 coolest bikes on the road :D

  3. I can't find it! I've tried every variation of Ohio Riders and it keeps saying No results. Either I have the wrong Waze (it was the only one in the market) or it's just a piece of crap app. Looks like a battery hog anyway

  4. Nope, 6R broke down on me two weeks ago and the shop still hasn't looked at it, but I just picked up a new bike on Monday.. 2008 ZX14 Special Edition.. Love it. I might swing out to Kill-Kare on Friday if weather is ok..:D:D:D:D:D

WTF, I thought you were gonna get an FZ1????

  5. as much as i dislike spiders - its nice to see someone else have inverts living with them lol

I used to have a scorpion, hissing cockroaches, 2 snakes, an iguana and a couple breeding mice to provide some tasty young pinkies for my growing snakes ;) But it was all too much work (and smell) and I got tired of taking care of everything so I only kept the spider cuz it's easy. I've had her for 11 years now and she's probably going to outlive me!

  6. Tourism guides

    I don't care if it's a repost, it's applicable.

Wow! These really make me wanna go there now! LMAO!! Lot's of good suggestions from everyone. I think we'll check out the R&R Hall of Fame cuz she's all into hard rock and stuff. And breweries are my thing so that's a definite! Not sure if I'm gonna go to the fatty place though, LOL!

  7. So the girlfriend and I are taking a day trip up to Cleveland on Tuesday so she can drop off a saddle to a fitter or some horsey thing like that. I was wondering if there was anything to do up there that's worth checking out and doesn't cost a fortune and is specific to the Cleveland area (i.e. not the movies or something I can do anywhere)? Thanks

  8. Just my opinion here about selling and the extras. People don't really realize that any extra mods or parts you do to a bike (or car for that matter) you won't get back and it doesn't really raise the value. You said it yourself in your opening post that it was set up and personalized just the way you like it. The odds of finding someone that wants exactly what you wanted and is willing to pay more for it are very slim. When I got my bike the first thing I did was pull off half the stuff the previous owner had and started personalizing it to me. So if you are totally set on a price that is higher than market value due to the mods you made, I suggest keeping it. I'm sure there will be days down the road you'll totally be in the mood to hop on it and go for a ride. At least this way you'll be able to do it instead of regretting selling the bike :D

  9. Looking at the radar right now, there's a storm cell to the east that's just passing through Indianapolis and is heading right towards us. If it comes through in the next few hours with nothing behind it then I'll head up.

  10. I always have my high beams on in the day. I was in my truck yesterday getting ready to turn left and I barely noticed a bike coming at me because he had no light on at all. He's just asking for trouble!

  11. I was there Friday too. I tried out the R1, FJR1300 and the FZ1. I didn't care for the R1 at all. I expected the motor to be more like the FZ1, and I guess I'm just getting too old now for that aggressive of a rider position. The FJR was cool for what it is. I wouldn't mind having one for long rides. Of course my favorite was the FZ1, I wanted to see the difference between the Gen I and Gen II. I like the Gen II better and someday hope to get one. Do you know if they still had it on Saturday? I was going to go back but I don't do wet weather riding. I really wanted to try out the FZ8 and the Vmax.

  12. I listen to music with in ear buds, I just keep it lower so I can still hear the engine or sirens. Unfortunately they don't block out all the wind noise which sucks. If I don't listen to music I keep a pack of ear plugs stored on the bike. Like Papa said, I don't care if it's illegal my hearing is bad enough as it is and I'm not going to contribute to it more than I have to. And I use my eyes way more than my ears when I'm driving anyway.

  13. Hey everybody, my name is Lance and I moved here last October from Colorado, but originally from California. I arrived with a Honda VTX1800C but it wasn't very comfortable for me and just wasn't my style so a few weeks ago I traded it for a Yamaha FZ1 that I absolutely love! I've owned several bikes since I was a teenager and this is my favorite so far. I've joined up here to hopefully meet with some people for rides and to learn more about the state since I have a limited knowledge base of the roads. So if anyone in my area ever wants to go out then hit me up. My schedule is very open and I'm available pretty much anytime, unless it's 100 degrees out! I draw the line there! One more thing, why is the air I'm breathing so heavy and why am I always sweating .... j/k. I'm not a big fan of the humidity but I'm trying to get used to it...
