the hardware probably isn't cheap though...
I wonder if you could just screw INTO the rubber, and then squirt some fix-a-flat on the inside to seal it, and mount the tire that way.
One more thing I now want to try on an XR100...
Sounds like a plan. I'd be worried about the plugs ripping the tire apart under load though

I think that guy got 10 years in prison. At the 1:15 mark when he passes if he went 1 or 2 inches farther left he hits the grass and ends up in tree. If his partner was not filming what happens to truck guy?
