  1. For a first gun a Bersa 380 is a great choice. Easy to break down and clean. Good starting caliber. Has a few different safety mechanisms on it which are great for new shooters. As stated before if all else fails get a Glock. The only thing with a Glock is if you have smaller hands it may feel a little big in your hand. But they are reliable, easy to clean, and also have a great capacity in there magazines especially in 9mm.

  2. MEPS easy. Your family will probably want to send you mail. Try not to get mail everyday. I know you can't stop this but give your family the heads up. The more mail you get the more the Drills know your name. ALWAYS say Drill Sergeant DONT EVER just call them by there last name. ALWAYS have a battle buddy. DONT talk to the Drills unless absolutely neccessary. Learn to sleep anywhere. If you do end up voluntering make sure it is for ammo or chow detail. These are cake details and with these details you probably won't have to Ruck March to the range or field site. Good Luck.

  3. If you do plan to clean it yourself remember to put scotch guard or another carpet protectant down after cleaning. It doesn't prevent future stains but will help lessen them. That is why Stanley steamer is quoting online $400.

  4. When I get tatted I usually play on my phone unless the artist wants to talk. I have found that most artists want to make some small talk while doing the work. The arm isn't that bad of a place to get a tat. As for them being white trash that is coming from someone that is frankly dumber than a box of rocks. Tattoos are how someone expresses themselves. It may not be for some people but for others they are a great idea on how to remember a time in there life or even a loved one. I hate to go on a rant like that but some people need to realize what they are saying before they say it. Good luck on your tattoo.
