  1. Welcome. Heed the warning about leg humpers. :D

Welcome new girl, new around here too. No worries, the leg humping is harmless, mostly, I think.

I'm learning too so no tips but if you just want someone like minded to chat with....

    Be safe :-)

  2. My dad works at miller... Lol and I sure as hell don't complain about free beer!

Sorry! :) To each their own, I just can't, even if its free. Sam Adams, 21st Amendment, Yuengling, etc. are more my style.

  3. awesome!!! Stone Brewery :D

must be the one around the corner from my work in sharonville

That would probably be the one ;)

    Where do you work?

Lucky me, I live three blocks from here too! Best commute ever.

  4. Miller brewery perhaps?

:plus1: on the MSF course :D just finished mine in Sept.

Ugh, yuck no, not miller. Lol, I work for a distributor, not a brewery but not miller at all. I'm a beer snob, you couldn't pay me to drink miller. :)

  5. You have your endorsement yet. You've got some pretty nice roads just outside of Cincy.

Just my temps, they expire in April, I'm taking the course before they expire. So I can ride within limits

  6. I put them on photo bucket as suggested by someone and used all four URL options and none of them are working. I have never had this much trouble to put up one picture. It's a bike, at this point I'm frustrated. It's the burnt copper 2011 FZ6R, my patience is shot.

Try using a> but lose the spaces between the %7Boption%7D tags.

If you upload the pictures to a hosting site like www.imgur.com you can just copy the image tag urls next to the pictures you upload.

  7. Thank you!! I did my research, I knew exactly which bike I wanted, and why :)

the last new male member who introduced himself spent more on his his first (oversized, overpriced) bike than I have on every bike I've ever owned. Combined.

This sensible female member bought a ~60 horsepower fuel injected inline 4 that is small enough for her to learn on, smooth enough to take across the country, and has enough power that she can keep it forever if she wants.

Frankly I think she's got her head on straighter than a lot of the male members (and leg humpers).

Hopefully she sticks around long enough to realize that you're all (mostly) joking :D

  8. Oh, wow...ok, I'm catching up here. Give me a minute. I'm a girl, for sure. And if you think its a girls bike thats ok too, its mine and I love it! :) As soon as I learn to ride well enough that I feel comfortable I would love to come out for a group ride if the offer still stands.

  9. I'm supposed to introduce myself here...not sure exactly what to say. I'm 34, first bike, learning to ride. I have an FZ6R. This is the first thing I've done that is for me, only me. I couldn't be happier.
