The Chapal at The University of Dayton is undergoing a $12 million renovation that includes the removal of the 1920s Wangerin pipe organ
My son works for the pipe organ service company that has the task of removing all the lead pipe or "whistles"
All their other helpers were on vacation so I helped out this weekend
Very high quality wooden boxes are actually highly tuned whistles
Just one of the 20+ crates of whistles we've removed so far
My son amongst a room of pipes that we need to carefully remove as they're made from lead, soft lead

what's fun is replacing the drive belt on my Harley, after 36,000 miles the drive pulley was worn and was pealing teeth off the belt,
I've got a Performance Machine Phatail 240mm rear on this bike, PM rotors, pulley, calipers erc etc. priority #1 was to get pulley off the wheel and sent out to Arizona for rework as PM has discontinued this pulley
This pulley is toast
Soft aluminum, although PM says they heat treat their pulleys, they're still soft - against Kevlar belt
$780.00 and 5 weeks later my pulley returned from Az with poly/Kevlar molded insert onto original pulley
Then the fun begins, have to remove primary
Simple to remember where each different length bolt goes if ya do this
sigh lots of work to replace drive belt
Gotta remove exhaust on my bike to get access to swing arm bolt
Then ya can wiggle in the new $235 belt
And reassemble

And bleed the brakes
http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj292/LimeNine9r/busted%20belt/null-23.jpg
Approaching the 41,000.0 mile odometer reading

But I Ride motorcycles.
I guess it's no big deal if he would've killed me?
My lovely wife could find someone else
My 16 yr old triplets would have fond memories of me.
Maybe we shouldn't ride motorcycles at all.

Logan County Jail
Christian Fischer
By Richard Wilson
Staff Writer
BELLEFONTAINE, Logan County —
A 30-year-old man was sent to jail and had his license suspended Monday in a plea agreement on charges from an August 2013 Logan County fatal crash.
Christian Fischer, of East Liberty, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide and vehicular assault and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, five years community control and 200 hours of community service, according to the Logan County Clerk of Courts.
The judge suspended Fischer's driver's license for three years and ordered him to pay a $500 fine as well as court costs, attorneys' fees and restitution, according to the clerk's office.
Fischer told police he was distracted when he went left-of-center and struck a motorcycle head-on on Aug. 11 on U.S. 68.
The collision killed the motorcyclist, 39-year-old Charles S. Carpenter, and seriously injured the passenger, 41-year-old Cathy L. Goodyear.
Fischer is serving his jail sentence at the Logan County Jail.
