Hey ya'll - I recently picked up a 1991 cr125. It's not in too bad of shape but it definitely needs work. It needs the top end rebuilt (piston, rings, pin, etc) and possibly more. It kicks over good but the foot shifter (i think) is stripped so it's not going through the gears.
I'm looking to see if anyone would be willing to take it up to running condition. I have a pretty good budget with it so I'm willing to make it worthwhile to whoever is willing to do so, and I'm willing to buy all parts needed.
If anyone is interested please feel free to PM me.
Thanks in advance!

1990 xr80 needs head gasket installed
in Play in the Dirt
Posted
Hey - I recently acquired another new toy - a 1990 Honda xr80. It runs great and is a blast to ride, but it's getting time to replace the head gasket. I have a new stainless steel head gasket, but I don't have the ability or know-how (yet) to install it.
If anyone would be willing to make their way out to New Albany, Oh and replace it for one afternoon or weekend, I would be willing to compensate you (fairly) for your time.
Let me know if you could do this, and how much you would be willing to do it for.
Thanks so much!
