I absolutely love mine. Only slight issue I have had with it is that on really cold mornings, it fogs quickly but any review will tell you that. Otherwise, the helmet is comfortable, cool, quiet, and the sunglasses are an excellent added feature. As far as fit goes, I have learned one thing: you are either a Shoei, Arai, or a Bell head. One of those three will probably fit you best. My head fits best in Shoei while other people fit better in Arai. Go to Iron Pony and try on all three to find out what works best for you.

We use Pit Bull stands for the garage and the trailer. They look really nice and are extremely well made. Wouldn't use anything else.

There are so many jobs posted on GEs site. I found one or two that I might apply for. I've noticed some of the job descriptions are pretty vague, so its hard to tell if I am qualified or not, but it doesn't hurt to apply.
Apply for the Edison Program, any materials engineering or nondestructive testing engineers, and look for a general design engineer role. Let me know what you find and who posted the position, that is if you decide to apply. Let me know if you have questions about a position. A lot of them you may be over qualified for but it means you'll be able to move to the position you really want sooner.

Keep an eye open on GE Aviation. They are always hiring. My suggestion would be to get in and then you can move to where you want to go after about a year or two. Hard part is getting hired in. I am at GE currently so if you find a position your interested in, I can always ask around about it or recommend you.

I started out on a CBR600RR for my first bike. I loved the power but was pretty uncomfortable while riding. Some people have no problems with the position, while others can't stand it. I rode the bike for a year and a half and just traded it in earlier this year for a KTM 690 Duke. I absolutely love that bike because it's light, agile, and powerful. I won't win any straight line races with a big 600 bike but that bike was built for carving corners. My best advice for her is to go to a few dealers that sit on the bikes she's interested in. Feel what is like to pick it up off the kick stand and let her put her feet on the pegs. Make sure you try different riding positions. She'll know what feels right to her. Only problem is that you really can't tell how comfortable a bike is until you ride it. One last suggestion... Pick up a cheap dirt bike that has a low seat height and low power for her to mess around on in a parking lot. It'll help with her confidence on a bigger bike.

I got the 2014 690 duke and have to say, I'm quite happy with it if I don't ride the highway. That bike was in no way designed for highway cruising. The thing vibrates pretty good at highway speeds. Besides that, the bike is an excellent back roads bike and is an absolute blast. You don't even notice the vibration in the backwoods and I can honestly go for hours on it. The torque and power are really good and feels powerful. The bike weighs around 310 lbs wet and just dives into corners. It's pretty close to a supermoto but you get reliability and a shorter seat height.

I hope he got photo number 20. He looks like he is going warp speed. He was definitely fast and looked good in the corners I was sitting in.

I was coming home from Evendale (heading N on i75) and around Union Centre exit, a guy on a motorcycle went down. It was stop and go traffic and I heard squealing tires behind me. I looked in the rear view mirror and saw him wadded up with the bike a few cars back. From what I can tell, he may have been rear ended or rear ended the car in front of him when the traffic stopped suddenly. He was on a large bike that looked like a Goldwing or something similar. Hope it wasn't anyone on here and I hope he's ok. A few people pulled over and were helping him.

I've been shooting since I was idk...11 or 12. After my class I spent lots of time and money unlearning all the bad habits I had taught myself or learned from my dad/uncles/brother etc..
look at some Masad ayoob or magpul dynamics videos on YouTube and at least learn proper grip and stance before you go shoot.
Definitely! I will look into those.

I understand what you are trying to say here but I do know people that are very experienced gun owners that I am working with. I appreciate your concern for learning proper technique and I completely agree. I want to get a couple of rounds through my gun before I go to the class considering I haven't even got to shoot it yet.
-
Ok, either way, I would prefer to be comfortable with a gun before going to the class. Again, a personal preference.
-
Not really. Most of the courses I have seen expect you to have some experience with a firearm. Maybe there are others that don't but i would prefer to be a little comfortable with my firearm before going into the class. Maybe that's personal preference...
-
I want to get my CC for the motorcycle. I am waiting till I get more experience with a firearm. I have had people approach me while at a gas station and it would be nice to know I have something to defend myself if they decided to do more than talk to me about my motorcycle.

In her words:
"That would be uncouth"
I will go in just an out house that is just a hole in the ground, which I did at STree but there's something wrong with a girl using the restroom out in the open with several men around. I'll keep my decency and be a lady!
