  1. Northern Kentucky just across the river from ya is supposed to be some killer fun, I've not been yet but hear it's awesome. Otherwise, just ride due east until the roads start making you smile....then you'll have found Ohio's honey pot of twisty fun

I've read about NKY in this forum - that's how I found this site. I definitely want to check it out one day soon! I have seen great roads around Indian Hill, but have not been riding there. A buddy and I did Eight Mile Road and Five Mile Road last Saturday. Still much more to explore!

I'm very close to you (for now)...I live in Colerain as well but moving to Montgomery late this year. I'm up for a ride anytime although I'll be in NOLA this weekend. There are a lot of nice roads off of Blue Rock - Thompson, E Miami River Rd...Buffalo Ridge is a great road off of Wesselman.

Lock in my number and text me if you go out please. I have been exploring Blue Rock and E Miami River, Colerain past 275, etc. They have some good curves.

There are some nice roads North of you as well but not nearly as many as South and East. My bike is currently outta commission until I can get a new chain and sprockets.
    +2 on Buffalo Ridge Road!!!

I'll have to look on Maps!!

  2. I just read this off to my wife, and she wants to know how that felt getting fucked up the ass? She said there was no reason that they should have dropped your endorsement and retake the test

Then, I moved within the first year being here and found out it is $25 to get your address changed on your physical license, but free to update it in the system. It was $10 in Florida (get your new one in the mail and keep your old one for a spare).

In addition to the municipal income taxes, county property taxes, State Income Taxes + sales taxes - Ohio is raping people. Put my son in public school and they send bills home for supplies. Never seen anything like that shit for "Public School," which we pay taxes to support.

  3. Welcome, good on ya wearing the gear, but I think you should get some proper riding boots and some armored pants. Sweet ride, keep looking at the ride events section, local rides are usually posted each week several times a week

Thanks James. I'll actually be in JC on Wednesday. You guys have come nice flat, straight roads out there. Good for some straight line runs. Maybe one day I'll ride the bike up there.

  4. I have been in Cincinnati for three years, but just picked up another bike (Kawi ZX10r). I need some riding partners. I live in Colerain not too far from the QS&L. I enjoy cruising, twisties, riding fast, whatever. Since I don't know the roads, I am really looking for some folks to help me find some good places to ride. Feel free to text me if you want to ride.

  5. I had just renewed my license in Florida in 2009 before coming to Ohio in 2010. My Florida license with endorsement was not set to expire until 2019. I went to get my Ohio license as required by law, they took my Florida license, made me retake the written exam, dropped my endorsement saying I would need to take the motorcycle test and pay the fee, and now my license expires this year. BS. Well, now I have a bike, so I am going through the process of getting my endorsement. Passed the written test without reading the book. Riding test on this Thursday.

  6. Hi all. I moved to Cincinnati for work 3 years ago. I sold my last bike in college (2002 gixxer 750 bought new) and just got around to buying another bike. I started on Honda CBRs (1989 600F1 bought in 1996, age 15 :D and then a 900RR), crossed over to Suzuki in 2002, and now I decided to give the Kawasaki ZX-10r a shot. I just picked it up last Monday, and I love it so far - though the weather hasn't been so great.

I'm hoping to connect with some folks in the tri-state area who can show me some good roads and good company. I just love to ride. I'm not too crazy, but I've topped every bike I've owned out and used to have fun with the wheelies, but imagine I will be a bit more composed now that I am older. I also love the twisties, but it has been five years and I need to learn this bike, so---yeah.

Anyways, if you are in my area and ride, hmu!!!:wheeliezx10:
