i'm interested in road racing, which is why i'm here listening to you guys, but i'm hooked on that straight line.

If you get interested in dirt track.......got a couple of Bultaco Astro's that are begging for attention. And I likely could get a 750 Triumph out of retirement from someone local.

  2. The Heritage Arms guns are bottom feeders. You get what you pay for.

As far as teaching a kid to use a revolver as a first gun.....I am all for that plan. A revolver forces them to learn to shoot. Once they learn to handle a revolver, if they want to move on to a semi, great.

Yes you will pay more for a better brand revolver in 22 than the Heritage Arms guns, but in the long run, it is worth the money

  3. Yikes Kevin......a stone crush in' Norton. I had one similar, even color. Handled great, but I just could never could come to terms with it.

You ride the Buelll to lunch......I will ride the Tiger.....only fair. And here I was planning to ride the Gold Star.

    we need to toast Ben.

  4. Since .45 is more than just ACP........here is a counter view. Go for a wheel gun in .45 Colt. Ruger offers the RedHawks in 45ACP/45 Colt convertible, Blackhawks as well. S&W offers wheel guns in 45 Colt.

45 Colt can range from mild "cowboy" loads to some serious heavy hunting loads. Just make sure you have a wheel gun made for the heavy loads.

IME 45 Colt is an accurate hard hitting round even with factory loads. If you have a convertible like the RedHawks, you can shoot 2 different calibers.

Try it, you may be surprised......

  5. I have been traveling for work WAY too much, my bike time has suffered. Was in Dallas all week, got home around 3 on Friday. It was just too nice of a day not to get a ride in. So spent some time on assorted roads of T-County. Even found time for a picture or 2. Damn what a nice ride

Ok here's the deal why didn't I know about State Rt 258 from Newcomerstown to Stillwater? Why has not anyone let me in on one of the best stretches of paved road motorcycle riding in the state? Why?Why I say. Some things are just unexplainable

Hmmmm, could it be us locals keep it quiet to keep traffic down?

Once you have ridden to Stillwater on 258, work your way over to Tappan Lake ( preferably using Moravian Trail Road off 800) and try 646 from Tappn Lake to Wintersville.

    You can thank me later

  7. Try Brew Kettle White Rajah....it smells great, it is a flavor explosion when you drink it. I don't find it bitter at all. White Rajah is easily my favorite IPA and maybe one of my favorite beers. And I usually go for porters, stouts and just plain pale ales.

Buy a six pack, if you don't like it, send me the rest of the six pack for proper and safe disposal
