Made it home safe and sound! Was good to see the OR crew again and special thanks to @durk @B-Mac for letting me tag along

Clean machine! Nothing wrong with going over the bike with a fine toothed comb, I do the same when I buy a used bike. Oil pan could have been removed to fish out something that dropped into the engine during a valve adjustment. Had that happen to me on my Bandit 1200.

Yes sir. Took a little while to find some of the parts but all is good now. Did some rejetting while it was apart so now maybe I'll be able to keep you and the blade within eyesight lol 

Rear brake was dragging slightly. Cleaned up the pistons and slide pins. Now braking is back to normal without any squeaking. 

Rode the heck out of my bike trying to catch @durk. Good times indeed!

You guys missed out on the best part of 250. I rode the W.Va/Va. part yesterday which is pretty awesome.

Did your father make it to you with your truck before the diner closed? Did you guys go back home or stay in WV for the night?

He made it up there at about 9pm. Diner closed at 8 but they stuck around to ensure I had a ride. We headed back to Dayton right after loading up the bike.  Awesome folks by the way, shout out to Beallsville Diner, extremely friendly staff/owners and very tasty food.

Appreciate all the comments fellas. I'll be back out there riding soon enough. The "driver" of the vehicle was cited for failure to yeild. It's still up in the air as far as if the vehicle was covered by insurance but I'll let my insurance company handle that.

Finally home after 9 hours!  Awesome ride! You guys are a cool group to ride with. Definitely enjoyed the routes I experienced before my unfortunate incident. Really appreciate all you guys support and assistance. Remember: Car pulls out in front of bike= Bike always loses.  Car pulls out in front of big bike and big rider= Bike still loses and so does car.

Would like to join you guys. Will try and make it to the IGA gas station in McConnelsville at 11:15a.

9am sounds good. I believe there's just a Shell at Whipp and Far Hills. The BP is back up at Stroop and Far Hills.

Welcome.  Hopefully, no dogs this time!!!  Some of these, you rode on Dice's route earlier this year, but I promise there will be some you haven't ridden.  Hell, there might even be a few that aren't on a map!!!  Dice likes to refer to them as my goat paths.  Nothing that a set of good aggressive knobbies can't handle….  OK, I keed, I keed.

Yeah the dog running out last time was pretty unfortunate. These goat paths sound intimidating lol but as long as I'm on 2 wheels I'm game for whatever.

I'm in. A NKY run always sounds fun. I'll be heading down from Dayton as well.

Awesome ride fellas, definitely had a blast! It was well worth the trek down from Dayton. Was nice to meet all you guys and I appreciate you guys not going to hard on my newbie self. Thanks Bill and Rob for the beneficial riding tips and suggestions.

I wouldn't mind taking a ride out to the Airforce Base sometime.

It would be well worth the trip, the Air Force museum is definitely a must see especially if you're interested in anything flight related.

Hello all, new member here from Dayton, Kettering specifically. I've been riding for just under 2 years on my 82 Yamaha XJ550 aka my trusty old steed. I spent the season last year just cruising around the area looking for people to ride with. So I'm definitely looking forward to meeting up with some of you guys.
