  1. Hi guys....just passing over Cincinnati to Dallas  in a plane and then to Costa Rica. I had funny time because google announced flight delay but not that the delay was cancelled later on. So I went to the airport like 35 minutes before the actual flight time:) Luckily returning car in Ohio is just passing the keys over.

I will try to share "get a bike" options in places I traveled so you can do your bike adventure elsewhere.

  2. sorry for late reply....I just had about 5 hours of kendo :D crazy

so we have a plan for two hour ride tomorrow around Cincinnati, meeting is 8am Bubba house if anybody wants to join... 3910 Powner Road, Cincinnati OH 45248

    have a great day

  3. It is the same here Bubba...I would come today's evening if I could

I can work today and have another kendo lesson.

My moto schedule looks like Sat 7pm pickup....Sun free ride....Mon noon lunch and training in the DHL office in Westerville....Tue 11am flight Costa Rica via Dallas (so bike return maybe 6am, or Mon night)

I am happy if you would have some recommendation...I personally planned to switch off my overused mobile and brain and just wander whereever road takes me.

    Thanks everybody for this share

Jan:  Couple of questions and a suggestion:

    1) Do you want me to put the soft luggage panniers on for your trip?

    2) Do you need to borrow a helmet and or MC jacket?  I have an extra that is actually very clean, but fit may be an issue.

    3) Keep me in the loop as to timing.  The earlier you can provide me with your schedule, the better.  I'm assuming you'll be here Sat morning but the weather looks better for Friday evening than Sat AM.  I have a scheduling conflict and may not be home later Sat after 3 PM.

    4) If you are not crunched for time when you pick up the bike, you will be within 20 minutes of some of the finest roads within 100-150+ miles of Cincinnati-Columbus.  I'd be happy to show some of the great rural routes in northern Kentucky--right across the river--where I do most of my riding.  If you get here early enough, I can plan a 100-150 mile (2.5-4 hr) route to show you around the countryside just south of my house.  If your schedule permits it, it's worth your time!  Again, lemeno.

    Bubba,

I am sorry....got busy in Akron but job is DONE :)

I don't need anything, have helmet from Europe and I don't need luggage stuff....I plan to travel light...just enjoying your beautiful country.

I won't make it for a bike today....so I will plan for tomorrow noon probably.

Thanks for all the tips and kind words.

  7. Bubba!! <3

I left to Akron for two days, by car, to do some IT stuff on site. Would pickup on Saturday morning and return on Monday night work for you? My flight is on Tuesday 11am from CMH.

Any Westerville offer would work better for me...so I keep thread open

    Amazing! :)

  8. I know :):(

..it would possibly be true if we have normal bike renting service...but as there aren't such anywhere in the world (not even Czech), maybe except some beach tourist areas (like Thailand), we have to rely on each other

    Malaysia, Triumph 900...$700 per month

Costa Rica, BMW 650.....$400 per months

Japan, scooter from Dutch embassy and some Honda 300 from friend....$0

Indonesia, Suzuki Katana....$15 per day from taxi driver :)
