Sounds like a clutch swap and a certain V6 Firebird I own. Someone (individual, not shop) on here told me a weekend job over a month ago, and has told me twice it was done already and/or would be done within a matter of days when confronted about the deadline. I passed up several other "offers" on the work because I was being nice and this person needed the money. Now, I travel A LOT and figured someone else could do it. If I had taken an hour each weekend since I've handed the car off, it would be done by now. I was told again the car would be done last Wednesday. No contact has been attempted in my direction, and a PM and phone call yesterday and today have gone unreturned.

Truth. An auto car with power is not as always as easy as it seems, and its much different roll racing versus dig racing.

We had a volunteer firefighter on here a few years ago who'd never had a moving violation in his life or criminal record get a street racing ticket while driving a MR2, he was in his mid-20s. They handed him a six month license suspension, six points, hefty fine, and high-risk insurance filing for some-odd years.

You honestly have no idea how fast the RPMs climb in my car, do you? What you hear is the time it took for me to physically move the gear lever from "3" to "D" after the split second I knew I was in the limiter. Yes, they climb that fucking quick.

I hit the rev-limiter so hard I blew a boost hose off. On the way back, I heard this weird "fluttery" sound and noticed my boost and fuel pressure reference gauges quit working. Yay for spark cut on LSX cars and boost

Dyno businesses make you sign a waiver of liability, but I believe that's usually limited to mechanical breakage when your stressing the limits of the vehicle, obviously. If the guy operating it cannot hook up an electrical connection properly and fries your system like stated, you'd best bet he'd have more to worry about than finding an extinguisher in the near future.
