  1. Ya, or just use a small Coleman cooler. 6-pack size works great. :) Thats what I use when I run up to Cleveland and pick up frags.

    Here are a couple pics.

I apologize for the late response. I am still not getting any email notifications and I can't figure out why.

  2. Our reef club had its swap last weekend. One of the vendors had his truck and trailer and all his stuff stolen the night before. If anyone runs into someone offering a large quantity of saltwater aquarium related items, please reply to this thread. Here is the post Dirk posted in our forum listing some of the items.

"Hello everyone, it was quite the weekend....

We did not arrive until 11:30 saturday night at the Clarion on Dublin-Granville. My helper Terry was out smoking in front of the truck at midnight, their security drove by him 3 times in a short period of time and even asked what he was doing.

He explained and within 6 1/2 hours later the window was smashed out and it was gone. According to the police another truck was taken about a month ago. They have camera's but they are for looks and don't actually work.

I could really use yours eyes and ears if something ever comes up in the area. Pawn and pet shops, Ebay, Craigslist, maintanance companies, basement operations...I don't know where or when this stuff might show up. When the thieves saw how much there was, I doubt they would throw it away

For some obvious things that would stick out, imo

-The glow/coral sticks many of the vendors use came from me. They are 3/16" neon green, orange or red-pink and are 18" up to 72" long

-The cubes I use to store/stack/display much of my stuff are Itso cubes from Target. They are White, 14 1/2" and 2 are bolted together, completely filled with pumps, powerheads, additives from Hydor, Marineland, Eheim, SeaChem, Mag Supreme and others

-The drawers are made by Iris and have not been made for 5-7 years...I checked because I wanted more, that is what Iris told me. They are black with sort of clear drawers that will have black tape along their corners )to keep them from falling apart) Filled with MH se bulbs(Elos/Ushio/XM/Radium/others), Salifert test kits and a million other aquarium/reef related things

-There is a 5' aluminum truck box and 2-34x24x24" Contico travel boxes filled with skimmers, uv's, a calc reactor, much more too....

-3 smaller hand carry totes filled with filter bags, more skimmers, Kend scrapers

-A LOT of books by Sprung, Fenner, Paletta, Michael, Vargas, Kuiter, Calfo

-Other noteable items which are not commonly seen: 12" angeled tongs with red rubber tips, 24" regular/LARGE tongs, Portals-magnetic magnifying glass, frags kits, a small one(4 piece), one larger (10 piece), Maxi-jets-400/600/900 of the older green colored boxes,

This list could go on forever. Some of the main ones are listed. The cubes, drawers and shear quantity of items should make some/all of this stick out"

"They found the pickup, it is now in the impound. The thieves took everything else...the blue topper, the cap pak and ALL of my stuff.

The topper was dark blue Lear. The Cap-pak is a large drawer which slides up along the top of the topper. Originally it was designed to store the guns in it while the hunting dogs were in the bed of a pickup.....I just used it as a storage drawer"

His truck has been found, but of course all the stuff was not. Thanks for any information. You can also PM me.

  3. Got the spare Trans Am nose and the front lip spoiler for my bird together. Now I have to find a good plastic welder to weld the spoiler to the nose and blend it in, as well as blend in the license plate filler panel. Also do the modifications to the nose that I want.

  4. Gotta give Brandon and IPS a shout for the Wings West front lip spoiler. Thanks for getting this ordered for me guys.

I'm real impressed with the quality of this lip spoiler. Urethane, like the nose, and real nice and stout. Here's a few pics.

  5. My sail panel was starting to do the bubble thing and in checking, GM no longer offers a new one. Thankfully, Mark over at 6LE took a mold from a new GM part he tracked down and is making them. He has a 15% off sale going on until the end of the month, so I grabbed a carbon fiber sail panel from him today.
