  1. I am dying to know the story behind this and the origin of the stain.

I guess that was kind of an open-ended explanation...:gabe:

Guy looked like he just got out of work or something with dirty clothes but I didn't think anything of it. A couple days later I noticed a couple of what appear to be grease spots. One came out completely but the other one is hanging in there. Someone who knows what they're doing (Andy) could probably get rid of the spot that remains.

Or it could have been a small amount of poop that shot out as we crossed into warp drive...

  2. The time has come to sell the GT. I'm always so busy I barely drive it except to and from work occasionally. I love the car but it just doesn't make sense to hang onto a car I don't use, especially now that I have a kid on the way.

The car is in central Florida (near Daytona beach). Obviously that's a bit of a drive but it's a good excuse for a road trip (or cheap flight), right?

    $18,000 FIRM

    38,000 miles

Tinted windows, cloth interior, CD player, Electric windows, locks etc.

Has some minor small chips on front bumper and one flake from road debris hitting it (shown). The interior used to be flawless but now has a small stain about the size of a pencil eraser on the passenger seat from some dirt-head I took for a test drive.

  3. You'll need a 5.4L specific intake manifold for sure, or at least spacers designed to retain the intake from the shorter deck engine. Though the heads may be the same they are positioned further apart because of the taller deck. I beleive Professional products makes some adapters for the 2V heads but I'm not sure if anyone's doing 3V. Reichard Racing maybe?
  4. This... Obviously he is doing something right to have a business that is able to work on these cars. I remember another shop that stuggled with a project when they first started and caught a lot of heat from this board. They seem to be doing well now.

I'm not affiliated with that other company or this CovertAbortion production, but I think there's a big difference between starting a business and squandering an inheretance.

  5. I'm not surprised. I did a complete rear brake rebuild for my wife's co-worker for the same reason about 6 months ago ("slight grinding, squeal"). She thought she "might" need new pads.

I don't have the pics handy, but it was basically like that except the backing plates finally had bound up in the cooling fins and broke what was left of the rotor free of the hub portion. So the grinding was the inside of the rotor spinning inside the broken off outer. It was the same on both sides. Fucking retarded.

  6. I still think I'm going to go for the 5, though my 4 is holding up fine. I'm going to wait a while though and see if enough people cry about the connector change to get them to throw in a free one. I also want to check out the nav on the wife's 4S when iOS6 is released.

They have been forcing everyone to use that fucking retarded proprietary 30-pin connector for so long I don't see why they wouldn't automatically give you at least one adapter for their new proprietary connector.

Remind me. Why do I still like these phones?

  7. Haven't installed iOS6 yet, maybe tonight but I hope the turn by turn is decent. I use Motion X drive and haven't found one yet that's nicer. Tom Tom is my backup whenever I travel to area with mountains where signal is lost. Otherwise, it's even better than my in dash unit.

I use Tom Tom currently as well (but for free...). If the stock app is good, then I have little reason to jailbreak anymore except the extremely rare times I need to tether.

  8. Lower: (believe it or not)

INB4 THEY BOTH MAKE SIMILAR POWER :gabe:

    Actually, I'm envious of both.
