  1. Oh glad to see it was an easy fix. I was goin go with bad battery, bad connection or alternator.

  3. We did this. I lowered the tires to 20 psi cold. The rest is common sense. We already beat the stock 60' record and with alittle more weight in the rear I think it can be dropped alot more. If it doesnt rain this saturday we are goin to try it at D42. If track prep is good it should be no problem.
  4. I am determined to get a 1.6 on the stock tires and hit the 10's as well. Mark, remember what I said about the salt in the rear. This will get us there. We got alil work to get the record for bolt on record.
  5. I know the car should have drag radials on it, but to say it is a 10 sec car on stock street tires is pretty bad ass if you ask me. I think he is goin to pick up Marks old drag setup and we will see what it does then. Anyone wanna take a guess?
  6. Uh I think Thorne and IPS have done a few. Try getting ahold of either one of them. I know I have seen abunch of them on the dyno at IPS. Thorne seems to be the one who was tuning them.

  8. I guess its not the record I want, its just want to see what these cars are capable of with a stock tire and very few bolt ons. To be able to say a car went 10's with nearly the same stuff it came with from the factory is pretty cool to be able to say.

  10. Yeah there was, it was a bone stock to the filter car with a drag radial. It was that ranger guy. But I am posting this on soley memory so I could be wrong to. I havent looked into it much and dont really feel like looking through all that mess. Cavin had all the numbers earlier, I will ask him. Brandon, as soon as I find the date on Norwalk then we will do it. Maybe we will take it to D42 and try it there this weekend.
  11. Thorne you taking the bike to D42? If I got that day off we can see if we cant get you into the 12's on it. Trust me that bike does not have enough power to lift the front any higher then what it did with you on it.
  12. I am not sure on that but the record Cavin posted was for the same mods as his car has with a drag radial. I think with alil adjustments we can beat that on the stock tire which will be baller son. Looking at the record pass, that guy 60' 1.77 on a drag radial. On my pass I 60' a 1.75 on the stock tire. I think i can get it down into the lower 1.7 range on the stock tire and on a drag radial get it into the 1.6 range. If we can get it there that will easily put us past the record time.
  13. Honestly I havent even looked yet. I do wanna buy a whole long block, build it outside of the car and then get a good fuel system and better turbo on the car and see how much power we can make out of the stock motor in the car now before it blows.
  14. The last car picked up 4 mph on the back end and the reason it broke was cause it was hooking. Trust me it works.

  18. It is fine right now. I think it still needs adjusting. The stock t5 trans is hating life right now. Need to get it to RPM and have it built but I think I will wait till the white stuff is on the ground. Jp, you are close... I cant wait for next yr when the motor is actually built for boost, better heads, cam and intake. I would like to see a low 10 sec pass out of it at high 130's. Maybe if I can get it to leave hard see a 9 sec pass.

  21. Didnt know where else to put it and I didnt post it here to start shit. I just figured since it was a simple question, why clogg up the others sections.
  22. Oh forgot to mention the car is stock with headers and a catback and a shitty intake. These things move out.
