Ray wasnt giving any reaction time, here is the thing, a stick car is always goin to be alittle quicker on the take off from a roll as an auto will tear a stick up from a dig. Ray was just flashing his convertor, it might look like he was sleeping but trust me he was right next to me on the take off.

Brian there will be many races between Ray and myself. We still got our motor to motor race and our dig race at a track as well. I just wanna get some new car in the mix first since it fun racing more people instead of the same person over and over...

Race was 40-140 as Ray wanted. The piece of road was just a hair over .5 mile.

OK for everyone wanting a in car camera, it would of been hard to mount it pointing directly to the side. You prolly would not have seen anything had it been pointing alittle forward since Ray was directly next to me for most till we went into 4th and that is when I started to pull the 1/2-3/4 car on him. As for ray taking off, I dunno what gear he started in but you gotta figure that since he is in a auto there is gonna be that split sec when he floors it that it has to downshift thus looking like he was sleeping which he wasnt. Stick cars have no time to downshift, its just floor it and hang on. Rays car did very well for the weight he has. 4000# with him in it to my 3300# or so with me in it. But his car make I think about 70 more rwhp n/a then me from what I was told so that is why he was able to keep close. Still a good race non the less and like said before if there are more 40 roll races we will get a camera man under the bridge to film. Now, I just ordered new tires from Jegs, hopefully they get here in time for me to mount them and put them on my car so I can put a hurting on Anthony this weekend...

Its meh since it was from behind. Next time I will get them to stand under the bridge and video there since that is the finish anyways...

you can run a 150 shot on any stock LS1. I actually did a 200 shot on a cam only LS1 for a long time in my car with no problems.

I think the rule #1 in any car event is Dont fuck with someone elses car, no matter what...

Anthony, first off, let me say this. We had in 50$ locked in and last night you said that you would pay my entry fees for norwalk. After thinking about it today, I want the 50$ just because I am not 100% on Norwalk. Something could come up and not allow me to go whether it be work or whatever, so like I said I would like to get that 50$ off of you. Second, I dont think I am goin to make it next weekend. My rear tires have the steel belts showing and I am goin to have a busy week and might not have time to get new ones mounted in time and I hate rushing on something that isnt that huge of a deal. So if I can get a sec to get some new ones I will if not it will have to wait till you get your car back.

I looked down and my speedo was at 140 right before we went under the bridge. It was a perfect run between the 2 cars. Norwalk will a different thing, new tires and the biggest shot I can run on this block.
