It's a long shot, but this is more for the peeps who hit up junkyards. I'm looking for a complete Z34/LTZ exhaust (dual) from a 97+ Monte Carlo/Lumina LTZ. From the downpipe back. I don't need a cat. converter as I can just throw a straight pipe in there. or if anyone is going to pick-n-pull within the next week if you could please just look for one.

dunno.. it's my brothers wife's car. He got a quote from a guy he knows to do it for $175. He wanted me to check around to see if anyone would do it cheaper. I'm going to assume that doesn't include the price of the gasket, coolant, oil, etc.

Well, to get it fixed, it could be more than what the car is worth. Seriously. You can either pull the motor out and replace the TC, or drop the trans from the bottom along with the cradle to replace the TC. Now.. what can go out next? The whole trans. If it starts banging gears real hard it's done. Either rebuild the whole trans or get a junkyard one. Labor? Roughly looking between $700 and $2000. That's just a guess though. The shop in Michigan who did mine charged me $700 just to drop it.

The TC is probably shot.
