The Regal I just got smells like Grandma's apartment/car with smoke being there along with the freshness of a million air fresheners. How do I get that smell out? I guess I can take some type of leather cleaner to the seats, clean up the windows real good. Anything else that you folks know of to get the smell out?

I've checked around to some major places. Grange, Allstate, American Family, Progressive, State Farm, etc. So far Progressive was the cheapest at about $85 a month for great coverage. American family wanted $1500 EVERY 6 Months.. lol wtf? I'm paying $108 now a month through Safeco and know I can get a better deal somewhere. What are some other insurance companies out there? Anyone have some other places? Maybe post up an agent name or what not. If possible, I'd like to put my auto/home under the same place. That way I get the discount.

I'm going to sell the wife's Buick. Bought another car and I need the money for other things around the house. 199k miles. (will be 200k shortly). black with hail damage. Yes.. hail damage. about 200 small dents on the car. - New front and rear windshields. - Small dent on the right rear pillar (tree hit it 3 years ago) - brand new tires 5k miles from NTB. - LIM and valve cover gaskets changed. It does leak some oil. Maybe 1/2-3/4 a quart every 3 months. - New struts front and back but it rattles when going over bumps. Most likely the strut mounts that I never changed (only happens in the front) - Brakes are about a year old. Still are good, no warping. - a/c doesn't work now. It did up until about 2 weeks ago. Replaced the compressor with a junkyard one. Siezed up in a day. I might get it fixed before selling if it's worth it. - Trans is ok. You have to wait a few seconds before going from say reverse to drive. Just takes a second to engage. Other than that.. WOT it shifts fine. Changed the trans fluid last year and it was fine. From a rolling stop if you get on it it might free-rev a tad and go into gear. Just take it easy. It's been like this since we bought it with 138k miles Power driver seat, air bag, gray leather. CD/Radio with a decent stock system. The motor is a tank. Drives great and doesn't pull or pulse or anything. This would make a decent daily driver. Remember, a Buick is a poor mans Caddy! KBB even with the hail damage and scrapes here and there lists for $2,000. 900 OBO. I'm not going to give him extra money to take the cans from the trash bins. I already pay for that, why would I want to pay someone else more to take cans? I got a better idea. It's called a job . You're right. I shoudn't waste my time. When I was home and saw him last time he was taking out the cans and crushing them with his feet. I ALMOST thought about taking some nails and putting them in the bottom of the cans . That would suck for him . But then again, he'd probably turn around and sue me or some retarded shit.

So yeah, there's been this jackass who's going through our recycle bins taking the pop cans out to recycle them. My wife got smart and started taking the bins out the day of trash day (normally she'd do the day before). Well, I was home yesterday and noticed that he's STILL THERE picking the cans out. AND, he has his whole family there too. I saw his wife, and his youg 3-4 year old daughter there took picking through our bins. The dude looks like a real winner too. I don't have the heart to say "quit going through our shit to feed your trailerpark family" either. Should I call the city of Gahanna? Should I even worry about it. I could give two shits about recycling. My wife is the one who does it. We/she spends the time to take out the bins and such to the curb to recycle the cans properly, but this jackass is making money off of us. He doesn't just do our house either. He's going house to house on our street picking through EVERY bin with his radio flyer wagon. There's probably not much I can do other than just deal with it, but I just wanted to ask .

Well I'm really starting to think about selling it. I'm not sure how much I can get out of it. I might try selling it for $1500? I'm not sure. I really need to get some new carpet in the basement so I can finish it. That's where the money would go to. But on the other hand, having a 3rd car would be great if I wanted to work on my car or just park it in the garage for an extended amount of time. This is one of those "damned if you do, and damned if you don't decisions". I know i"m going to kick my self later if I sell it. But I really need to a few things around the house fixed up.. especially if I want to sell it this year if I go that route.
