Guys I just loaded my t5 back into the car with the clutch last night. Everything went smooth except my 5th gear and reverse don't work. When I put it in either and let the clutch out the car sits as if it were in neutral. Plus no reverse lights come on. The second issue is my clutch engages/disengages right off the floor, I'm more used to hit hitting about mid way. So do I need to let the tension off of the clutch line to resolve this or add some more tension? thanks

If it's oil smoke it will have a very distinctive smell. Take a sniff, I'm not fucking with you. The rings in those cars do not usually go bad that early unless something got down in the intake tract. I would refer to the pcv on the back of the lower intake as grass said.
