This is awesome, Doc! Thank you for all that you do and for sharing it with the community!

That's really cool...I had no idea that happened! Thanks for sharing.

I know the feeling on needing reliability!
I had to put two new engines in my 386 Sonic 2 years ago...procharged 514's...was NOT fun!
I just sold the Sonic last week and picked up a 36 Concept Cuddy with twin 400rs. Had it out twice on Buckeye and so far absolutely love it! Heading to Erie this weekend and am excited to get it into some big water!
I usually bounce around Alum and Buckeye on weekends I stay in town so I'm sure we will run into each other out there! If you see me docked, feel free to come up and introduce yourself!
Thanks,

its amazing to me that people are buying at these prices. Its like they think this is going to last....
It amazes me what people are willing to do/pay regarding appraisal gaps, etc. I'm seeing horrible financial decisions being made and all I can do is give my .02 and do what they tell me they want and technically qualify for. Blows my mind.

Slinging mortgages and on the water!
CR "stock" f350
2100HP in boats
Considering a fun cruiser and watching the market...but the fun car market looks just like every other market and the prices are inflated through the roof!

I cannot find any good information. From some sketchy websites, it appears I pay a fee, watch videos/learn, take a exam and pass. Poof I get a license. Is that true? The website run by the state is down for construction so there's no clear answer on that.
I took mine for free through https://www.boatus.org/ . The downside was that you could not skip through the slides...you had to watch them all before taking the test. It was somewhat informative so I do highly suggest paying attention.
I didn't have to send anything to ODNR...you can print the certificate as soon as you pass the test and keep a copy on the boat in case you get pulled over. The ONLY time I have ever needed to show it was when we rented a boat. I have never been asked to show it during safety inspections at Alum or when I have been pulled over on the water...
I owed a boat about 10 years ago, I had no idea you needed a license, I just bought it and drove it...Old guys like you don't need to take the test...

I started the process on refi'ing my house to a 15yr fixed through these guys at 3% a few weeks ago. That was before the recent APR drop. I'm hoping USB will drop their rates again and I'll get even lower. :gabe:
……….
Great time to refi. Ya'll have my contact info.

I just replaced headlights and fogs in my super duty with BeamTech and so far, they have been awesome. Plug and play...inexpensive...fast shipping. They were recommended by another buddy with my same truck and he has ran them for a long time without complaint.
They are way better than the stockers.

Give them a quarter and tell them to call someone that cares.
JK. I never give money at gas stations as I don't believe that scam...but I will always give a buck or two if they have a dog with them because I feel bad for the dog even if they are full of shit. Or, I will run and grab them 2 McDoubles. I also give a buck every Thursday to the guy with no legs outside of Chase corporate...because he has no legs and it's a buck.

Vacation days are 10000000000% NOT mandatory to pay in Ohio. Source: nearly 10 years in higher level HR at Fortune 500 companies.
Read your handbook. If it's not outlined there, you have no grounds outside of just trying to get your boss to be a good person.
If your new company is better and you're going to have a better life there, then honestly man, the juice may not be worth the squeeze. Just say fuck it and move on.
Came here to post this. Maybe ask the owner how he will handle any unused days and then if he's an ass about it just schedule time off prior to your last day?

it takes a 1.5 stock
Copy. Much easier to find.
I'll be out on Alum Sunday and Monday...look for the big blue and silver Sonic and come say hi if you get it back together!

$1600 for a good shape bravo 1 is not bad at all...especially if you're wanting to get back on the water quickly! You could always try Jason Kunkel and see if he has one laying around he'd let go for cheap?
1.5 or 1.36 ratio?

I'd highly suggest reaching out to Mark Goodwin with eGoodwin Insurance. He's an independent broker that runs between 12-14 companies and we refer business back and forth quite a bit! His service is impeccable and his products/price are usually the best!
His office line is 740.387.8335

Holy shit that's genius: just find trailers near my friend, and have them set it up on his property.
This is exactly what you should do! I have friends that do this for big concerts and OSU games and it is awesome. They do nothing but show up and pack the fridge/coolers and party.

Is it Corey Rose by chance? If so he also has/had a badass Pantera...

That's a sweet truck! I didn't realize you could buy that with a factory warranty...badass!
I would level it...but I'm not a fan of lowered trucks.

What they all said. I would negotiate the crap out of that as the seller typically pays and they came back to you. Call me to discuss.
Thanks!

Show me where I said that?
I said they are contenders...meaning they are one of the best teams in the AFC on paper, and at this point they are expected to compete with teams like the Patriots and Chiefs. They are capable of competing for a Super Bowl berth....never said they would win it or even get there this year.
Spot reserved for their .500 2019 season. At best.

They still won't sweep the Steelers. But...I'm glad to see they shouldn't be the worst team in the NFL this year!

Shameless plug: if anyone is wanting to buy or sell real estate, let me know.
Ya douche!
(ps - I would be more than happy to do the financing for those looking!)

I thought the additional tax was a road tax. Would diesel for a boat have the tax added to it?
Sorry...I didn't specify. I only run diesel in my truck...the boat takes premium. A SHIT TON of premium. But to that end...I'm fairly certain the additional gas tax will still be applied to on the water marinas. So all of Erie, etc. I have boat friends that live in MI and come to PIB and such and will only get gas here because of the additional tax they pay at their home ports.
Rich people problems.I own a boat...which is why I'll never be rich! lol.
There is no argument that our roads suck. But to Chris' point a few posts above...having just driven through PA this weekend, I can attest that the roads there are just as bad (if not worse!) then here. And yes, their fuel costs are much higher than ours. I'd be much less angry about this additional tax if all the additional funds would 100% be used to fix the roads and bridges. I just don't buy it that the money will be spent that way so I'm just bitching
I'll still be on the water every weekend possible.
