  1. I had good luck with my Clifford alarm system/pager that was in my cobra. Even though the place I had the install done at was a joke. What brands give the most problems?
  2. Not talking about your daily but your high end car. Would you let them do the install or should I look somewhere else? Anyone’s 2cents is much appreciated . What i'm looking at http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Python-Security-System-Python-460HP/sem/rpsm/oid/119440/catOid/-13097/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do
  3. Wanted to see if I could come out Friday for some minor modifications if you guys have time...I'll give you a call on Mon or Tues Jeff
  4. Before Mike from Ipsmotorsports went on vacation with his new girlfriend I told him about a car in Florida that I was looking into buying. He mentioned that he would be about an hour and ½ away from the area the car was located. Before he left for vacation he mentioned he might be able to go and look into the car if needed. I wasn’t 100% sure at the time if I was going to be buying the car or not as the guy wasn’t budging on the price so I left things up in the air per say. So on Sat I gave mike a call asking to call me about the car in Florida as we reached a price agreement. So Monday rolls around and Mike calls me and I ask if he’s willing to still drive and do an in-person inspection of the car. He calls me back a few hours later and says he’s willing to drive out and look at the car for me since I’m not able to fly out till next week and wanted to make the deal. So on Tues he meets up with the seller after I gave his information and test drives the car and looks everything over for anything possibly wrong with the car. Everything got the green light except the motor was smoking a little. I then contacted the buyer about it and told me the pcv system was deleted and why the engine was smoking a little and is still under warranty. Everything sounded good and checked out so I ended up buying the car sight unseen just from Mikes review. I felt Mike went above and beyond by driving for 3 hours there and back just to look at a car for me that I might or might not buy. It was a huge favor for me that will not go unnoticed and that is the kind of customer service that I plan on continuing my business with.
  5. The company that I work for uses them all the time and have all their software/computers and it’s really nice and you can get many things accomplished with them. I’m pretty good at getting around the micros systems if you have any questions
  6. I know this is an old post does anyone have eric's number? Much thanks!
  7. Let me see how much my buddy wants to sell his for as that would be fine and a good price! How much treed is left on the tire as I would like to leave something for the next owner...
  8. http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=326405 Let me know if anyone wants anything. Asking 31,500 but I’ll prob end up parting out the car as I’m already talking with a guy that has everything I need to go back to stock. Just don't see 31k happening well worth it though imop...
  9. Looking for a set of 2 or four if the price is right tires that will fit an 18x10in rim. Doesn’t have to be a performance tire. Thanks
  10. You couldn't see anything come on now...
  11. Matt do you have any more pics of that vette? Very clean....
  12. They do I just bought some un-leaded there for $6.50 a gal. Next time I’m going to hit up the D'Amico Petroleum, Inc place as that's worth the trip.
  13. Sounds like some good runs Mike
  14. I must say I have to agree. But I wouldn’t mind having that 5.4 motor in my car as you can't make up for more cubic inches. Also if people wanted a c6 they would buy one or vise versa with the gt500. Imop I think the gt500 is really ugly and will never own one. I have thought of selling my cobra many times for a c-6 but it doesn’t seem very practical when I have it almost paid off in a year or so. And I can get the performance results desired that I already have a good start on
  15. Tilley is on the right track and its issues with the stock heads on the car. They were redesigned 3to4 times just to get them right and here about a year ago they released the final "fix the tick" heads the seem to be working on all the cobras that switch. There are lots of things you can do to help though with the old heads and I think most of the failed 7-8 pistons are due to over-heating because of fords design flaw. Hell they only put one coolant tube to share for both heads. But don't believe all the internet hype and let it scare you away from buying an 03/04 cobra as this is still a minor issue and to-date there hasn’t been any reported loss of power because of it just noisy as hell. Was waiting for you to chime in. Mine should be ready by friday and heading down to the dyno that same day. Will see though, get that car running....
  16. Not talking about turbos but a 3.3 Twin Screw Whipple blower.. http://www.modularfords.com/forums/2003-2004-mustang-cobra/2-6-3-3-blowers-56193.html?highlight=3.3+whipple Prob takes some 150-200rwhp just to turn the thing. It's really not worth it imop but I guess bigger is better now days. But not to long ago a 2.4 Kb was the biggest hottest shit. I think kb&whipple are trying in a way to compete with all the turbo cobras that are around..
  17. I do also and could have some heat extraction functions if the blower was sticking out of the hood. Not to long ago I saw a red corvette that looks like it has a roots style polished supercharger sticking out of the hood that is just sick imop. I think I saw it around the Grandview area where my girl lives. Should have taken some pics...
  18. Down the road possibly, yes, but I’m very continent with what I have going right now and the power that I’ll be able to make. Yes, turbos would be awesome but not so on my wallet. Yeah I can sell a bunch of shit and is what some people do but it really comes down to how much power I want and how much I’m willing to spend. I plan on running a new short block eventually as the stock one won't take the amount of power that I want to throw at it and also the stock fuel system (what I’m getting taken care of right now). I’ll have enough fuel for days and won’t be a problem anymore. Basically I plan to throw as much power at a new block as possible and put that old camaro to rest when it's up and running .
  19. I know the logistics of having a bigger blower and I would think the engine would have a harder time turning a 2.8 or 3.3 blowers because of its shear size. Even then you would have to spin them all to hell on the 3.3 just to see any results. I guess there to new to speculate but I wanted to see what everyone thought. Who knows I might end up one day up-grading if the bigger blowers prove themselves like the 2.2,2.3,2.4 kits have..
  20. I been reading all around the fourms about all the huge ass blowers that Whipple/Kennebell have been coming out with and I can't really understand the need for a 2.6 or 2.8 and the crazy big a$$ Whipple 3.3 blower!!! That just seems crazy and what is the need/functionality of a blower of such a size? Here is some more info and a pic of the KB 2.6..Discuss http://www.modularfords.com/forums/2003-2004-mustang-cobra/kenne-bell-2-6l-supercharger-56449.html?highlight=kb+2.6 http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=302340&highlight=2.6 http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/124/kb2611qu.jpg
  21. Sounds like a good time. Thanks for sharing...
