Sounds like you broke the 3rd to 4th shift fork. It shouldn't be that bad to fix.

Why does everyone say if you spin your trap speed is higher? Everytime I spin and have a shitty 60' my et and trap speed both suffer. If your spinning the car is acceratering as quickly, so I would think that would hurt trap speed not help it.

My whale of a GTO used to whoop up on fbodies at the track all the time, with just bolt ons no headers. I think the ones running Thursday we're faster the most of the z's and ta's running.

Not everyone wants a terminator, so to the right person that car is worth that. My brother just bought a supercharged 95 cobra a few months ago for 13,500 and the car is cleaner then most new cars. Chances are a 5 year old with 80k miles is gonna be in worse shape then a 14yr old car with 40k miles, that said I would pay the asking price the car looks spotless.

My GTO was a 5.7 and ran just as good as any 99-01 cobra I've seen. 13.35 bone stock in the middle of summer.

I had an 04 GTO and it went 12.87 on street tires with off-road pipes, a cold-air and a tune. The only problems I had we're the clutch started to slip after I modded it and the CD player jammed up alot. I would still have it if it didn't get totaled, although I miss my Mach 1 I had too.

That's it. If you run the vin it will come up as a GT because that's what they started off as, so the insurance might be based of a GT also.

It's a real saleen judging by the tag on the firewall, so I say its worth it if there's no body damage.

I got the word my car was a total loss today so I'm selling the cold -air kit off of it. The filter is crushed alittle bit, jegs sells one for $48, the rest of the kit is fine. It costs around $250 new I'll take $100 for it.
