  1. The black Mach 1 you saw Saturday was me. I was bored so I drove down to see if people still cruised down there. All it has done to it is a x-pipe with 2 chamber flowmasters.
  2. I think one of the reasons they lowered the horsepower level on the GT's was to make the cobra look good. As far as the timing retard I believe it was on the 93 cobras and the sn95s. Now onto the topic. The cobra intake you bought off my brother will work fine to get you into the 11's, he went 11.31@127+ with it and a set of TFS twisted wedge heads and 15lbs of boost on stock internals and stock axles granted he got lucky on the axles I would up grade.
  3. I would have to say the trick flow setup would be one of the best from what I have seen. 93TANG had this setup on his with the street heat intake street heads and e303 cam and went 12.74@107.66 I believe and none of the stuff was ported. I have also seen another car at the track with the same heads but with the track heat intake, trick flow stage 1 cam, full length headers and 4.30 gears go 12.40's@110 or better.
  4. You can't honestly think cutouts sound good. A f-body with full length headers, off-road pipe, and either borla, slp, or flowmaster cat-backs now that sounds good they don't sound like one big exhaust leak. You know all you f-body guys are always saying mustangs sound so good that's because we run full exhaust not cutouts.
  5. Don't buy a cutout they sound horable I don't care how much power they add. Also I thought the non ws6 cars and the ws6 cars used the same airbox nothing looks different on my sisters ws6. Wouldn't it be better to by an open filter theirs still two openings in the front to grab air better from the top then off the hot pavement just my $.02
  6. X-pipes sound like ass to high pitch. Put an H-pipe and Flowmaster or Mac mufflers on it.
  7. That intake was ported about as much as it could be without going through the sides. If you port it anymore with stock heads still on the car it will hurt more then it'll help you performance wise.
  8. Just curious where did you get that block from. I've had the same similar problem with mine and the same story about somebody never picking the block up. I picked it up a ERS and they sad everything was done and just wanted the money for machine work and the time they had in it I think the block is fucked because I lost oil pressure after 1000miles.
  9. I just put that situation because roots style superchargers don't really need as steep of gear as most other cars would is all.
  10. A 4:10 gear I would say is more for a na car then a blower car. I know of two different cars that picked up from going from 3:73's to 3:55's and 3:27 it just depends on where the power band is. On a roots style car like your 03 Cobra I would leave the 3:55's in it because you don't need as much torque multiplcation with a roots style supercharger because where the power comes in. I know of a supercharged mustang that picked .5 seconds from going from a 3:73 to a 3:27 like a well known performance shop recommended.
  11. This sounds like the same problem I had with my other car. If it whines while your moving it could be the bearings in the tranny are shot and it needs rebuilt, at least that was the case with mine otherwise its probably a simple as the throwout bearing.
