  1. 12' sailing yacht. Zuma 12 http://www.sailingtexas.com/piczumaea.jpg 130 lbs and 65 sail sq ft of wind harnessing power. I can have fun on pretty much any inland lake....but I hate wasting my time on ohio puddles. I look forward to lake Huron in the summer, open water, and much less stress. Too many idiots in too many water craft for my taste down here. Qestion for those of you with 16 feet or more of keel here in ohio; What do you have to know to get from the dealership to the water? Any kind of classes at all? I've honnestly see some of the stupidest, most clues operators on the planet right in my back yard[/] at alum creek.

  8. .... graemlins/wtf.gif .....too bad it was a joke, a quote from the most quotable movies ever. I was under the impression that it was universal knowlege that wet kits on engines with complicated manifolds were bad.
  9. the magnum weighs in at about 500 lbs more then my car pallie. graemlins/thumb.gif
  10. spring thaw in the mountains?

  12. they stick because they're bricks. graemlins/thumb.gif top'o'the line magnum = 4336 lbs top'o'the line 300 = 4100 lbs
  13. Cat hunmting would be very interesting. The ferel cats will wisen up after a generation or two and actualy become challengining game. Have you ever trid to catch/follow/track a cat?
  14. Its a night and day difference from the regular C5. The Z06 is the only vette I think I'd like owning. A well rounded car...pretty much. Work your way up to the limits in a safe environment, the oversteer comes at you FAST at speed. Start off in parking lots feelingit out with some tight and technical cornering, then work your way up, widen your turns, increase your speed....then go here and get refined in HPDE 1 and 2. A few instructors there have a good bit of experience with the Z06. Great purchase, congrats. graemlins/thumb.gif
  15. I'd actualy been interested in getting an AWD wagon for quite some time now. I have a lot of crap that I like to take long distances. When I set out on my domestic climbs, my winter stuff takes up all my birds haulin space, leaving just the drivers seat. With my eyes set on the Cascades, I wanted something good in snow, that can haul 2 peoples gear, cruise a triple didgits on the highway, and still get decent mpg. Jesse, you damn well better follow through with that threat. And DJ, we discussed Magnums earier in this thread, go dig the numbers. I now have no respect for them, outside of styling.
  16. My car was plauged by a transmission constructed of bird shit and snot. The Monaro, though some what of a pig, is a great chassis. Not sure how they launch, but I've seen them run around a few road courses and I was pretty impressed. THe GTO is like Pontiacs Thunderbird....but with more power. tongue.gif Never been a fan of the C5 or the F body. I dont like live axles, and the C5 has the engine mounted in the wrong place. The vette's are good for burnouts, though.
  17. thats why the NHRA blows, no turbos, no boost at all in prostock. graemlins/nonono.gif
  18. I was gunna say he lacked rythm. tongue.gif
  19. http://www.caranddriver.com/assets/image/0106200517453047.jpg 469bhp with a warranty. 4.2 0-60, 12.6 @ 110, The thread is over.
  20. Pier Klienubing. There is no such thing as "5 lug universal", period. They may be labeled as such, but they wont fit every 5 lug car oiut there, garaunteed. Measure your bolt pattern and offset.
