to pass the flow through 2 mufflers and restrict things as little as possible, thereby reducing noise and minimizing backpreasure. It reguard to scavenging, look up "beehhheeewst!" graemlins/thumb.gif This car knows no torque and cares not for scavenging, getting the gasses out and away smoothy is paramount.

Right or wrong, you're still not getting a check. People go after the Po from time to time for at fault accidents and property damage, how many ever see a dime? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're involved in law to some degree, am I wrong is saying that nine times out of ten, state and local agencies and those employed by them dont have to pay for damges incurred to property while enforcing laws? The traffic stop situation realy doesnt apply period, so both of us are mistaken. In parking there, he put his vehicle in the hands of some one else. That doesnt happen during a traffic stop unless the drug sniffing dog picks something up. In such a case, the Po isn't liable for your door panels when they rip them of looking for narcotics that may or may not be there. In the end, its a simple point, dont break the law, you infinately reduce your chances of bad things happening to you.

How'd they know about the butt buddy club? That's only in the senior member section! That Uhaul driver was a total bitch for not racing you, man. Seriously though, as buckeye said, showing some humor goes a long way here.

egads, if you dont want to loose power, stay away from glass packs, they flow worse then straight pipe. Most flowmasters are just steel baffles. What shortens the life is the eat. Things expand, things contract, and I've seen flowmaster that "inflate" under high hp/heat abuse. That all weakens welds, or the steel around the welds, eventualy causing the baffles to break loose. If that doesn't get them, rust will. Plus they're restrictive, may gain you some torqure though. tongue.gif I wasn't aware that you could do duals on an FD. Avoid Fbody styl muffler set ups, if you can get 2 tips with one muffler per, that'd be best. If you have the room some where under your car, you could dry spliting the pipe off into a Y, through 2 mufflers, then back into a single pipe and back out your existing exhaust. How much are you willing to spend, and how much power are you willing to sacrifice?

"Super Spike" In Oil Prices Could Mean $100+ A Barrel...
Science Abuse replied to Wease's topic in Passing Lane
Oh you mean like Regan did....which didnt drop the price of gas...at...all. It's a means to reduce the overhead cost for those trying to pump it into the US. Bush thinks as long as the larger companies grab more market share and bring more $ back into the US, everything will be peachy keen. We never see any of that, prices stay high, wages stay low, the only thing that increases are profit margins and the pockets of shareholders. Trickle down doesnt work unless you sell Bimmers or LL Bean crap. tongue.gif Personaly I enjoy eating and feeding my baby too much to maintain my driving habbits at $2.50 a gallon. -
thats gunna take some getting used to.....can I drive it? Now would be a good time to log some "learning curve clutch abuse" hours.

Steve, if this is for the 7, you need to pick one of these 2 options: *1: buy a regular muffler and change it evry 1000 miles *2: spend the money on a titanium/stainless, etc muffler. Your motor has got to be spitting out some of the hottest exhaust gasses in the state. I know of stock FB's who cant keep a muffler together with no cats. You spew 1200 degree gasses, and those will gut pretty much any cheap muffler on the market. Normaly, for something that sounds like yours, I'd say to put a glass pack in every straight stretch of pipe you can find, it'll take alot of the "treble" out of your exhaust. But, those wont last long at all. Anything with glass in it will die quickly. Also, the less time the exhaust spend there, the better, so look for straight through's. You could get the flanged glasspacks and change them every month at $30 or so a piece. You may be better off with a one-time-buy of something decent, though.

I'll have a pair available later this week off the cougar. Not sure of the width, at last 245, possibly 255. They are 16" fo'sho though. I'm lookin' for $50-100 for the pair. Off the top 'o my head I don't remember their condition (with respect to remaining tread). I've hardly put any miles on them.

quite nice, doing any open lapping with it? smile.gif

"Super Spike" In Oil Prices Could Mean $100+ A Barrel...
Science Abuse replied to Wease's topic in Passing Lane
cost per barrel is twice what is was 5 years ago, yet its not costing anymore to get it out of the ground. Why? Simply because they can. It make sence as an exit strategy for Arab Nations. Whent he oil dries up, Saudis will have to go back to living in tents. -
Not exactly the ninja's of the road. graemlins/thumb.gif The reason for the critisism in this case is this, it wasn't a simple mistake. Getting pulled over and having your car keyed isn't comperable. More along hte lines of the officer leaning agains your car and scratching it with his Bat Belt . It wasn't a simple parking violation either. Its not like he forgot to feed the meter, he parked in a damn lawn. I'm still waiting for anyone to chime in with any area on campus, or in town for that matter, where it is remotely legal to park in grass. He still hasn't told us exactly where this was. Making a simple mistake and doing something blatantly stupid are two different things. Should the tow company pay? Yes, I said that in my first post, it's their job to know WTF they are doing. I feel they are liable, not out of pitty for Mekkahfire, but simply because the fuckers should know how to do their job. But when you put yourself in this kind of situation because you either didn't respect campus autoritah, or you're just too dumb to realize that yards aren't parking lots, you have to expect bad things to happen. Case in point, whos fault is this? http://www.worldfiredepartments.com/hotshot/images/through-window.jpg http://www.rescuehouse.com/pictures/albums/userpics/bmw_hydrant.jpg Those pics get a huge positive "hell yeah stupid fucker!" reaction, but you cant tell me they couldn't have linked up w/o breaking through the window. There was no immediate emergency, so chris has a legal leg to stand on. But it simple goes to show, when you do that shit, you put the fate of your car in the hands of the city...i.e. in harms way. The question still remains, what were you doing in the grass? Also, the pic says "skid marks", raising further questions about your driving conduct....? [ 04. Whats the reliability like on those rounds, and for that matter,t eh gun. There's alot of heat and alot of kick with each shot, I'd be worried about failures.

...I'm dying to hear this one... I feel pretty much the same, but even I dont go as far as to say its been proven or disproven. The thing about faith is, it can never be disproven, especialy with respect to a god that can control, change, and manipulate everything. "God works in mysterious ways" is sufficient argument for alot of people. I beleive what I beleive, DJ beleives what he beleives, its in stark contrast, but he loves me, and thats good enough for me. graemlins/thumb.gif

It's tough to run an aftermarket install buisness....especialy when one BS's people and it gets out. How many transmissions is Reinhart selling these days? The extra bucks to do right and keep a customer happy is the best investment one can make. Every fledgling buisness starts out in the red. BS gets you out fast, but puts you right back very soon because people stop bringing their cars in. You could have a flawless record, but one bad experience is more then enough to sour a shops reputation.

yes, I do. Look at my driving record. Heaps of speading tickets, yes, at fault accidents, no. I have fun behind the wheel, but I know where and when, and I dont let 1000 cubic foot orange and white boxes sneak up on me. I haven't been able to put together any situation in which that much damage could be done to that pontiac and not be totaly driver fault. Sure he says was only going 60, after having slowed down from....? A truck that size simply could not move fast enough to present itself in your way faster then you could react unless; A; he was driving way to fucking fast. or B: he wasn't paying attention. The point of the ribbing here is, you forfeit your right to bitch about a situation that you put yourself in via your own stupidity.
