B-Dry did our house and our neighbor's house probably 10 year ago and the basement has never had a problem since then. They did great work for us and they only did the walls where they thought there was a problem rather than the entire thing - they could have gouged us and did it all, but they were honest and did a good job.

On the American side, you should head out to Lewiston and check out the gorge on the way out - you can stop there. You can get a good view of the whirpool. On the Canadian side you can go over the whirlpool in an Aero Car (cable car). A few cool things in Lewiston, but if it's open, always stop at Hibbits frozen custard and get some black rasberry frozen custard - just wonderful - if it's still open.... Past Lewiston Old Fort Niagara is a really cool place to see - it's right at the mouth of the Niagara River where it meets Lake Ontario. Niagara Falls NY is one of the worst total ghetto places in the US - just horrid. But besides the new casino, there are a couple of gems to see - if you like ethnic food, on Friday nights go to Gadawski's Bar on 1444 Falls Street. The area looks bad, but once inside it's a gem of a place. If you like Italian, go to Como's on Pine Ave. On the US side take in Goat Island and all the stops along the way - Cave of the Winds is really cool, you are taken down to the base of the falls in rain gear they give you. The Canadian side is really better, but getting long in the tooth - and the Clifton Hill area, where most people go, is total tourist trap heaven. I was born there and lived there for a while and still go back about every year to visit...

It didn't sell and I got too many low ball offers, so I decided to just keep it - sorry!

Keith the owner of Big Shot Dyno in Hudson had one - a pretty clean stock black one that he wanted to sell. He may have sold it already, not sure - but you can google Big Shot Dyno and email him or call or he is a sponsor at Buckeye Stangs...
-
Price dropped to $495 + shipping or pick it up...

Thanks Greg! If anyone wants this now - see Greg at Blackwing - it's on consignment there. Don

It stovepiped a couple in the first two magazines run through it. All my guns did something like that occasionally when new, even the expensive ones. Kahr is very specific and tells you in the book that is NEEDS a 200 round break-in period so it's 100% reliable. It has that already +50 more so it saves whoever buys it the expense of breaking it in. I just ran 'range' ammo through it Blazer and Winchester (brass) - I did try a magazine of Hornady hollow points through it and it digested those just fine.

Ok! No calls after 9pm please!

Kahr CW40 - .40 S&W Model Number CW40. Comes with the gun, original case, 1- 6 round stainless magazine, manual and lock. This has a stainless slide and black polymer frame. 3.6" barrel, 6.36" overall length, 16.8oz, Drift adjustable white bar-dot combat rear sight, pinned in polymer front sight. Operates in DA only. I added a Hogue Rubber Handall Junior grip sleeve to it. It has snappy recoil, but not that bad considering how light it is. Very accurate once you get used to the long DA trigger pull. A GREAT CCW gun. For more info, go here: http://www.kahr.com/dtlspec_cw4043.html I have about 250 rounds through it - it is really accurate and really reliable after the first 50 rounds never gave me a hiccup. I will not sell you this gun unless: ~ You are 21 years old ~ You are willing to let me see your driver's license ~ You are willing to do a bill of sale with your name and address on it as well as the gun's serial number $350 Firm. I can take cash for that price, but also for 3% more can take all major credit cards or PayPal. I don't want to trade anything. Either PM me here about it or preferably email me at Don@lasotaracing.com http://www.lasotaracing.com/Graphics/GUN%20SALES/kahr-box.gif http://www.lasotaracing.com/Graphics/GUN%20SALES/kahr-left-side.gif http://www.lasotaracing.com/Graphics/GUN%20SALES/kahr-right-side.gif

I bought a new gun at BlackWing and because of manufacturing issues, it had some serious problems. Showed Greg what was going on, and he went above and beyond the call of duty to make things right. He was helpful, very friendly and gave me a couple of great shooting tips. BlackWing has really competitive prices on all guns, but what sets them apart is the personal service and willingness to make the occasional things that go bad, right. To all you Columbus folks, it is worth a bit of a drive to come up to BlackWing and get your stuff. In addition to guns, they have a great outdoor shop, two world class pistol ranges and the outdoor shotgun activities. I usually never post in this section, but I'm so blown away by the terrific way I have always been treated there that I just had to share. Don

And Rob's 88 came right from Precision - no markings. This one was originally bought used from a CR member - then was recently overhauled by Precision - it cost me $600 to have that done....

Precision PT 64e turbo - it is actually a 66mm Turbo; T4 flange; 2.0" turbo discharge; 3.0" turbo inlet; 3.0" V-band exhaust outlet (doesn't include V-Band clamp). 0.96 A/R exhaust housing. Includes the oil drain flange and the oil inlet flange. This turbo was given a comprehensive rebuild at Precision Turbo less than 5000 miles ago. I used it on a Gen 1 Lightning with a basically stock 357 motor and it made >500 RWHP at 13# of boost through the automatic. Spools really well , full boost by 2500 RPMs or so and did not seem to have a any backpressure problems. Ran fine for me, no noises, no play that I can tell on the wheels, in basically new condition, but being sold as-is. I'm selling it because I got a bigger turbo for it. $575 + $20 shipping to the lower 48 states - I will ship to HI, PR, AL and Canada for a bit more. I take PayPal and all major credit cards. Not interseted in any trades. Email me at Don@lasotaracing.com if you are interested. http://www.lasotaracing.com/Graphics/PT64e%20pics/Picture-001.gif http://www.lasotaracing.com/Graphics/PT64e%20pics/Picture-002.gif http://www.lasotaracing.com/Graphics/PT64e%20pics/Picture-003.gif http://www.lasotaracing.com/Graphics/PT64e%20pics/Picture-004.gif

Anyone know if 03-04 Cobra injectors work in 99+ GT's?

And they do have different connectors... -
DEFINATELY get a built block for that car if you'll be running that big of a hit of nitrous. On a returnless system, running a wet kit that draws fuel from the rails, you usually only want to go with a 75 or maybe 100 shot. If you go bigger, it'll drain the lines when the nitrous hits and you'll get a lean/rich/lean/rich oscillation condition until it stabilizes. We can help this with a tune, but not make it go totally away because it is a physical problem. This can be minimized/eliminated by using an accumulator - essentially a teeny 'tank' that is added to the rail that will add fuel volume and lessen the impact of the fuel 'hit'. I think Nitrous Express sells them. I have also heard of people running a seperate pump and lines for big nitrous shots. I'd also run a window switch to turn it on at a specific RPM and shut it off before it hits the rev limiter. You never want to hit the limiter when spraying - very bad things happen. Make sure you have a decent fuel pump, like a focus pump with maybe a BAP. Run copper plugs gapped to 0.028 for the nitrous. Be sure your clutch and drivetrain can handle it too. Hope this helps, Don

Thought I'd chime in here too to clarify a bit - Rob LaSota is no longer doing installs at AP Tuning, he needed something with benefits. BUT we still are tuning cars, that never ended - I do all the tuning and Rob helps me out tremendously with that. For those of you that do not know, LaSota Racing is the first SCT dealer in Ohio, we were there with them when SCT was formed - we were like the 3rd or 4th dealer added in the nation. Besides tuning we also train other SCT dealers how to tune cars - Rob and I have been all over the nation training cars and doing dynotune days. In fact late this month or early next we will do our first training/tuning day out of the country - we will be going to Steeda's Canadian headquarters to train them and tune a bunch of difficult cars for them, including a really cool twin turbo '05 Mustang. I tune for other dyno owners when necessary - I have done 'remote' tuning all over the country, Canada, Europe, the middle east and even Aruba. I have had offers to go tune cars in Germany, Denmark and Puerto Rico, but I hate flying so I nixed that. I did all the product documentation for SCT early on and we helped them by beta testing new hardware early in their life. I also do a few other things, I am author of SCT's Dealer's Tuning Manual, SCT's Pro Racer's tuning manual, and the yet-to-be-released Diablosport Comprehensive Tuning Manual. As far as I know we are the only SCT dealer in Ohio that has the 'Calibrator' level of software, that lets us adjust things like drive-by-wire in the later vehicles. This may have changed and there may be a dealer or two who now who also has it, but we have had it since the beginning. So if I'm mistaken here, I apologize. Just thought I'd post to inform you about us - no knock on the competition, in fact, Brian and his dad are friends of ours as is Randy. I personally don't know Mike, but Rob does and tells me he is a stand-up person. So the bottom line is, Central Ohio is really a hot-spot for excellent tuning resources! Don LaSota

I worked for the state for 30 years and retired. I first was with the Health Dept, then the OEPA. The state is a great place to work - most departments. If it hasn't changed, they have 5-6 "step" raises depending on the classification. Each step raise is about 5%. After 6 months you get a step, then after a year you get another. Then you get a step each year until you are in step X - the end of the step raises. Then you have to rely on the legislature to hand out raises, if you are management or the union to negotiate a raise. Plus you used to get "longevity" pay after a certain number of years. Also depending on the department, there are usually opportunities to get promotoed - and some jobs they only fill with internal applicants. Don't let anyone tell you the benefits suck, because they are really good. You get 2 weeks vacation after a year, up to 6 weeks after 20 or 25 years. Paid holidays, 3 personal days a year (if they still do that) a bunch of paid sick leave days each year, free life insurance, dental and vision insurance as well as healthcare. The healthcare costs have gone up, but it's a great plan. You get to accumulate unused vacation and sick leave. Then when you retire, you get paid 100% for all your vacation, all personal days and half your sick leave. Plus the retirement plan is THE best that I know of. They also have a deferred compensation program that is really terrific, and I'd advise you to get into it if you do get a job there - you can build a LOT of $$ in it fast. Many people I worked with had amassed >500k in it after 20+ years. Don't underestimate the retirement plan either - many young folks think that's really far off - well take it from me, you get there before you know it. Very few places can you work 30 years, then you retire and have your take home pay stay about the same - for life - and I pay maybe $20/month for healthcare, dental and vision. The state politics CAN get annoying, but what job doesn't have negative things. That's why it's called a JOB. I just did my job as best I could and tried not to worry about the crap. Good Luck! Don

Not sure - I THINK it does away with rear 02 sensors - that's probably it.

The Predator is a state-of-the art, high performance tuning flash programmer in a sleek handheld design. Once connected to the vehicle, the Predators internal computer recognizes the vehicles PCM and automatically picks the proper tuning files designed specifically for that PCM. Inside the Predator's memory are the actual tuning files that optimize spark timing and air/fuel ratio curves. The transmission parameters are remapped to improve the shift characteristics such as shift firmness and shift points. Unlike other 'tuners', DiabloSport's programming is performed in very small increments throughout the entire RPM range, for a smoother, wider and a more predictable power delivery. DiabloSport engineers spend many hours on the dyno, street and track to ensure the tunes provided with the Predator are the best they can be. I have a new 'demo' unit SCT Livewire for sale - the SCT minimum advertised price is $569. Details here: http://www.sctlivewire.com/lwmain.php It is just like brand new - never been VIN locked to a vehicle, but it is a demo so I can advertise it for less. All original packaging and manual. For sale with the 'canned tunes' that comes with it - $499. I can do a custom tune for it, but that'd be an additional price. Email me at don@lasotaracing.com if you are interested.
