Scope mounted

got a scope tonight. thanks guys!!

Here is what I have come up with after some research. I want a scope that is 3-9 or 3-12. It must be at least 40mm and I want it to be 10 inches (12 inches max) in length. I want the bullet-drop marks. And under 300.00 preferably. Has anyone seen/heard about these? TRS1 seems like too much scope for what I need. Is there a more compact version that millet makes like the konus t30?

What's the price point on those?

Anyone heard anything good about Weaver or Konus?

Yes, I can't believe it either. And, I have only ever fired about 400 rounds total in my life. Even my USP 9mm is close in accuracy. But nothing compared to the match.

Come see for yourself and shoot it. 6 inch barrel and a 3/4 lb weight... Pretty darn close

I think most competition shooters are 10-20-30 feet from targets depending on the course/exercise. At 75 feet... I'm using a rifle.... And yes. The barrel weight makes it feel like a 22lr. Hardly moves. Who said I wasn't going to carry it? Kidding.

i understand that... but ... i noticed a trend with people talking about the Vortex strikefire being a good budget red dot and they were right. i bought one and love it.!!!

I bought a new .308 gun. I would like to get a good optic for 300 yards. would you suggest a 4x? I am completely new to optics. my budget is 150-300 bucks.
