  1. how long does it take to download/stream?

You just wait 10 or 20 seconds for it to buffer at the beginning. If you FF/RW it will rebuffer for a few seconds when you resume, but I haven't had any issues with it pausing during playback or anything. It will select a bitrate based on the speed of your connection, so the quality may degrade if there is bad congestion. I believe the HD streaming tops out just under 5mbps, so standard RoadRunner is up to the task.

  2. After speaking with the state fire marshal he has informed me of there being no state fire code about having a bicycling in any college dorm. Now I need to contact the local fire chief to see if they have any regulations against it.

It's probably just a silly school policy. Hell, we weren't allowed to have extension cords in our dorm rooms. We were allowed to have power strips though, so I put a 50' cord on one. :)

  3. yeha.. im debating on either 10/22 carbine and put the archangel kit on it, the ruger sr22, or the colt 22 LR M4 OPS

I've heard a lot of really bad stuff about the Colt. The S&W seems to be good and I think Vance's is selling those for $450ish. A kit also works fine if you already have an AR, you can get a CMMG with 3 mags for under $200.

  4. The lower doesn't matter much, as far as material or strength go. You will want to consider a heavier hammer and/or hammer spring (because of the 50BMG primers), and a buttstock appropriate for the increased recoil. All that said, you will wait a long time for a Bohica, the guy is pretty grumpy, and I've witnessed a lot of extraction issues on my brother's (apparently the new bolt handle helps, though).
  5. Give us some insight on how many points you still have and when / what the violations were.

For clean drivers or nearly clean drivers you won't beat State Farm's prices. They have the lowest cost model of any company in the industry and there's a reason they hold nearly 40% of the market. You do have to elect additional coverage to make sure OEM parts are used in repairs if that makes a difference to you. Most companies are doing this now though so you'd have to do that almost anywhere.

However if you don't qualify for their standard company coverage their rates are not as attractive and some of the smaller carriers (Grange, Farmers, etc) may be able to be just as competative.

    Andy

I'd like to believe this, but I had State Farm with a clean record and they were ripping me off. Agent wouldn't do a damn thing about it, so I went with Pekin (part of the Farmers group), and it's half the price.

  6. you are aware this it the guy who practically builds this site right? i can see now why you got caught an got a ticket :gtfo:

oh an want to talk about trolling ...you post every few weeks(usually ina for sale thread go figure) ... just saying

Yes, I am. And lurking is not trolling.

  7. I'm confused, why not just go the speed limit?

Let's see, the description of this forum is:

"Been caught breaking the speed limit? Know of any speed traps? Post them here to let fellow CR members avoid paying the State of Ohio more than they already do."

So maybe if you have a problem with people doing so, you should delete the forum it instead of trolling.

  8. You don't get points added to your license since they can't say who was drivng the car. They just fine the owner of the vehichle.

Ah, I didn't notice that part the first time I read the notice. The rage must have blinded me.

Not to be asshole but there is signs warning you that cameras are in use.

Yeah, I know. I'm just surprised I was actually going that fast, because I make an effort to not overdo it in that area.

How many cops have you seen lately in Heath?

Quite a few. Although, all they seem interested in doing is sitting on their asses in shopping center parking lots.

  9. So, I got a $100 photo ticket in the mail today for 47 in a 35. This was on one of those awesome 5-lane, 35mph stretches of road (the rest of the road outside of town is 50+). I know the stupid cameras are there so I am careful when I drive through Heath... which makes it all the more surprising. And on top of that, the violation was 3 weeks ago and they are just getting around to letting me know about it. Meh, I think it's time to start shopping on the other end of town.

Anyway, anyone been to "court" in Heath? If I request a hearing, can I expect them to play nice and reduce it to a non-moving violation or something?

  10. Step up to the 7200.12 if you are set on that brand and class of drive. The .11 series had some firmware issues. I would personally also go for an i7 920 and put some of that extra $300 towards a faster video card, like a GTX260 (especially if his CAD stuff is CUDA accelerated). Give that 920 a very mild overclock and you're back where you started CPU-wise.
  11. I paid $415 for an unfired factory RRA with NM trigger and Hogue grip. You'd probably get close to $400 on ar15.com. I have heard from dealers that AR prices are coming down as well.

  12. I don't know what is with you guys. I swear if this sells at $350 I'm going to start selling AR lowers and parts. Seriously.

Free bump for a possibly sold, nice lower. Otherwise, if you'll take $250 for it I'll be there in 30 mins with cash.

You don't have to like it, but that's the market right now. And yes, it sold.
