    Mustang guys.

There are less expensive places to crash than the Breakers. We usually make it to MB every year. This is just where we stay for the week. Any place a block away from the beach will probably save a lot of cash rather than a beach front hotel.

    Mustang guys.

RE: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60885&highlight=myrtle+beach But it's good to get this restarted. The wife and I got our reservations in Dec. Staying at "The Breakers" I hope to meet a lot of you guys then if not before.

    DOW below 7k

When the dow was at an all time high in 07 it was on the back of a credit bubble about ready to burst. In other words, it wasnt real money. People are losing real money now, but there were no or bad assets to back the paper then. The same way the dow was overbought then, I think it's over sold now. I reminds me of the oil bubble bursting. However, I do not think it is Coincidence that whenever Obama speaks, the market trends lower. His policies hinder free markets. Housing needs to correct on ITS OWN and that will be the start of a positive direction for the market. BTW: we've seen similar situations in the past. Reagan cut taxes for EVERYONE and things started getting better. This adminstration promotes a class warfare that is tearing this country apart from the inside.
  5. Sounds like a smart ass sales manager implying because they just bought it, it's now a used car...sorry, it just doesnt make sense if the Mazda was previously untitled.
  6. Congrats on the purchase. I'm not sure what the legalities were when they shut down Mazda direct and moved the inventory to the Toyota side. Did they have a temporary Mazda dealer license to move remaining inventory? When was the "In service date" on your car? If the warranty had already started, you bought a "used" car. Dealers trade all the time, but that doesnt mean they are used when they sell. Just curious as to the factors that made you think you bought a used car. Thx.

  9. I think you should tell her that you posted "she was about to go on her period" on a car board full of guys from c-bus. That will help smooth things over. Girls love being open with the entire city about their bodies.

    NFL Combine

Just a few quick takes: Marcus Freeman looked solid with 30 reps @ 225! (James L had 22) Who in the world knew ROBO could run a 4.59/40? Beanie ran a 4.59. Not too shabby for a guy with his power. Hartline is slow, short and white. He will be lucky to be "Mr. Irrelevant"
  11. I'm sorry. I'll give you that. I just couldnt think of Bush's Transportation Sec. They are all old crooks working together. That's why the majority of them have been there for decades. It's called a "political weather balloon"
  12. need a kleenex? Some cheese with that whine? You can't honestly sit there and say you would have had the same reaction toward Bush if Cheney would have suggested taxing mileage driven.
  13. I feel real sorry for you if you dont think this is all one choreographed stunt. It's as old as time. Some dope in your administration floats an idea so you can get a gauge on where public opinion stands. A couple of years later you re-introduce the idea when "there is no other way" to make things right. Calm down. I'm allowed to have an opinion as long as its yours?
  14. Funny, I see a guy nominated (endorsed) by the President of the United States to serve as Transportation Secretary. Why would Obama think the guy he nominated is an idiot? Did he make ANOTHER screw up nominating his cabinet?

  16. I wish it were like this. I truly do. However, nothing changes unless there are consequences for behavior. If the only consequence is a starving child that the tax payers refuse to help, then I dont see that ever happening. These people will continue to abuse the system because they know the majority of folks dont want to see dead kids in the streets. Treat the cause, not the sympton.
  17. Cant' agree with this. Once again, it penalizes those who follow the rules. (Just like this mortgage bailout BS). The source(parents) must be treated. Not the sympton (children) What do you do with triplets?
  18. I hear ya. The system is just broken. Good people with means can't adopt kids in a timely cost effective manner.
  19. which brings up the next point...do you know how expensive, time consuming, and just generally brutal it is to try and adopt a child?
  20. How about a free "tube-tie" or all expense paid vesectomy for any parent of a second child born into public assistance?
  21. I see what you are saying. However, to lump Ford in with Chrysler and say they are not trying is funny to me. Obvioulsy you missed your TV when Ford touts quality equal to Honda and Toyota. The F150 is the best selling vehicle in America, why not try to be proud of that? I'm also wondering what makes you an expert on why people buy? People buy out of loyalty, pricing, or emotionally. Those are the big 3. Emotionals encompass perceived reliability issues (feelings), image (feelings) etc. IMHO I just think it's funny that no matter what the big 3 do to improve a battered image, there is always some import driving guy there to pile on and say they have an image problem. For a guy like you to admit they are doing something right would mean that you might have to think twice about the car you bought.
  22. I shipped an F150 from here to Arlington TX last month. It ran about 800 bucks. Vegas is a longer distance, but the Vette weighs alot less. Should be less than a G.
  23. You've obviously done your research on Ford...this arguement has been had in many other threads. Unfortunately, GM is on it's deathbed because it should have been trying these things years ago. Ford is 4 years into a "turnaround" program. Neither is perfect, but I'll take Ford's position over GM any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Edit: just a quick question. You are basing your assumption that Ford isn't trying to do things different by watching TV?
