You seemed to have missed a word in there Linn, "public". I have seen plenty of private street races this year between people. Walking around and asking random people to race is downright dangerous, and you know that.

Recently I have been thinking hard about getting myself a TDI VW or something of the like, because of all the nutso combinations of Oils you can run a diesel motor on. This has nothing to do with veggie oil, but it is a cool video. Sounds exactly like the gas motor, except when it's idling.

I am not trying to turn this into an E-battle, however I do think (like I have said before) that public street racing is dead. Meets are gatherings of enthusiasts, not a place to see how close someone can get to going to jail.
