  2. ive been grandfathered and use around 5-6gb a month so I fear tethering would get me noticed and kicked off my unlimited data
  3. I sure was glad when all my snapon/matco/mac and cornwell stuff was paid off. I dont envy you young guys getting into that business. Money was good but with newer stuff coming out and warranty work paying less (if you work at a dealer), just tough to make money. I have probably spent 25-30k in tools and would not trade them for anything, rocky is right buy the right tool once if its your livelihood. It will pay you back on certain jobs for sure.
  4. Jose@ Forced Inductions is your best bet in my opinion or you can try Chris @ Midwest Turbo. Both guys will give you the best prices and the best support.
  5. Depends how long you want to do this job as a primary source of income and what level you want to excel to. If you are just going to do light work I would do amazon or hf. If you are planning on making a go at it and do this for a real long time buy craftsman or cornwell. Cornwell will be your "cheaper" better quality of the tool trucks that come around IMHO In the past 6-7 years that I have been out of the business for a living I buy tools from Amazon or Jegs. In fact I put together a pretty extensive secong tool chest for the track only and everything was from amazon or jegs and not one complaint.
  6. Julius said no, he only does clear and recently started to experiment with carbon wrap
  7. Ill send them a message. Ill call them up I did a thread search and saw his name...he is in dayton? Ill try him if I cant find a reasonable price local thanks
  8. been down that road in the past, not a fan of it. Can always go back on the vinyl also, just want something to match perfectly with the yenko stripe and tie it together. I may get the car together and say f it but right now it seems like a cool idea.
  9. my car is being painted, the hood will stay black regardless. I love the look however I have a matte black yenko stripe going on the car and thought instead of gloss black it would be cool to have the hood matte black kind of like how some of the new camaros have the hood wrapped.
  10. First timer, had a blast... looking forward to next year already. Almost bought into a product I saw a demo on. The bad dog bitter.... I know its been around for a while but it was new to me. I think Im going to buy one. my current air nibbler is broken and like this concept better
  11. Who knows someone or someone on here who can wrap my nova hood in 3m matte black vinyl? I know the vinyl from 3m would be about 65-75 bucks...just looking for idea to wrap the hood in labor and who can do it.
  12. Be there all day Saturday. As long as this snow does not fuck that up
  13. yup derek... I now take all my business to him.
  14. Hit up Dozzers Garage on here. Or at the least any shop if desperate for work at this time of year. Take it to a shop at worst pay for a 17.99 oil change special and tell them to go over the car with a fine tooth comb and provide an estimate for everything. If its a car you are about to give 3-5k for or whatever its worth the 20 dollar piece of mind to see it up on a rack and given a look.
  15. Catch can and valley cover sold Pcm is pending
  16. Sweet looking truck congrats
