I own the tank and equipment, so no propane company is involved. It will be inspected once completed since we got permits for the generator install.

Trying to figure out if I should just go ahead and do this project my self. I need to change out a 3/4" black propane pipe and put in a 1 1/4" line. 50 ft of its a straight shot in the basement, the other 15 feet are getting it into the house and out of the house. The route in has already been established so that shouldnt be too hard, the only other part is getting it out to the generator. I will also have to replace the second stage regulator at the house to accommodate the 1 1/4" upgrade I dont have a pipe threader (can rent one), but gotta think I shouldnt be paying someone 4 times the pipe costs to do this. I have gotten a couple quotes with another coming next week. Someone talk me out of doing this myself or into it?? Let me know if anyone has past experience. Thanks!

Trying to find the best method (aka cheapest) method to get a buried 500 gal propane tank installed, does anyone have experience. I own one tank already (came with house), but would like to add one for my generator. Didnt know if anyone knew of a propane company that would install even if I leased? Im aware of above ground, unfortunately that is not an option for me. Thanks

Prefer not to rely on Propane, and really enjoyed our previous geothermal unit at our last house. Was going that route eventually, so why not start getting the pay back now.

Sorry not sure what you mean by this. They will be unhooking tomorrow, should I advise them to do something special during removal?

I have had them checked before I bought the house a couple months back and both checked out nicely. Wanna throw it up on clist but not sure how much to list for. I threw it up for $2500??
