  1. I used Chassis Saver on the underside of my truck and fuel tank. Stuff dries very hard. If you try to drill it, ur bit will walk across it. Comes in gloss black, flat black, and silver which has aluminium in it.

Never tried POR-15, so i don't know the charcteristics of it.

    Can be found at http://www.magnetpaints.com

"At this time, the U.S. military is evaluating Chassis Saver on ground vehicles in Okinawa Japan. Military officials claim this is one of the worst environments for corrosion. The Ohio DOT claims that Chassis Saver has reduced by 50% the amount of refinishing they need to do on their fleet of snow and ice removal equipment subject to salt and liquid calcium chloride."

  2. Not to be an :asshole: but that was the same as a letter saying "You have been suspended".

Yes, but I didn't recieve a letter for my most recent suspension.

I appeared in the Marysville Court last year. Grigsby was my judge. At your first appearance, you will be asked to plead. If you plead not guilty, he will ask you if you have representation. At this point, do not ask for a public defender.

You will be a number in a long line of cases. Grigsby will not ask you any other questions. He will set a date for trial or sentence you if you plead guilty.

As was said earlier, look good! Wear a suit, shave, and be on time. The courtroom will be full of "Union County's Most Wanted." There is no excuse to look like them.

Thats the same judge i'm going to have, i've heard that his an :asshole: Thanks for the heads up.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse.

    Ok, bye.

    Law's ignorance is no excuse.

Innocent until proven guilty, not stereotyped to be a criminal.

  3. Well I got a continuance. BTW I didn't know my license were suspended I never recieved a document from either state on the matter. At a previous time Ohio has sent me a letter stating i need to mail in my license and that my "driving privileges" have been revoked pertaining to a violator compact. I seriously wouldn't have been risking myself a second offense if I would have known. Which all in all I think is bullshit because how are ppl supposed to know wtf a "violator compact" is? Borderline intrapment if you ask me. Now I have to read the whole damn ORC to cover my ass and set up a favorities page on my cell phone for the BMV.com to make sure daddy has givin me driving privileges before I drive.

I'm going to move to Canada, universal healthcare, and cheaper imports. ;)

  4. OK, I was on my way to work got pulled for speeding, even though a car

was passing me in the right lane. While the officer was running my license it

came up suspended because of violator compact, I didn't get arrested, just a

court date. Now this is my second offense with a suspended license within a

year. I got court in Marysville the judge's name is Michael J. Grigsby. Already

took care of the violator compact. I was reading the ORC and it states that

a second offense is car impounded for 60 days? A cop friend of mine said

that it could be up to 6 months in jail. Any input/ideas on what to do/expect

    is greatly appreciated!

  5. WOW, I didn't know things were getting this bad. I hope that only good can come from this and that CR doesn't get shut down.

Maybe thier should be a big brainstorm on some ideas on what could be done to stop some of the things that are happening. Then have a poll and let people decide. Good luck with the decisions that are made I hope everything is for the better!

  6. my buddy has a '99 cavalier with the 2.2, anyways he changed his oil and drove it for a couple of days, and it started to knock, well he just left it alone and i went over to look at it, it stays runnin, with a semi loud knock and when it idles for awhile it smooths out, well i check the oil and the stick is covered with a sludge all they way to the top! and no oil! at all! i'm like WTF, i take some off with my finger and i can feel like pieces of metal, and the oil smells burnt! so i'm debating to take off the oil pan! any suggestions?

    lol

i've learned that if you're coming up on a cop and haven't slowed down in time, DON'T. I was pulled over for speeding 5 times when I slowed down upon seeing the cop. (no tickets luckily) Since then, when I see a cop, I just keep going the same speed. HAven't been pulled over in close to a year I think. (car I used in my getting pulled over streak [not just for speeding] was an 89 olds Trofeo, haven't been pulled ofer for anything since purchasing the GT)(knocks on head)

i'll have to second that, cuz everytime that i slowed down i got a ticket, two times in the past couple of months i was doing 75 in a 65 and both times the cop pulled out, the one turned around, and they never pulled me over!

if you take the top of the mower apart, where the pull cord is, under it their is a condenser and some little electrical shit under it and thats how it fires the plug, so their is no need for a battery! it's a VERY simple electrical system

SD = Static Fuel Control (fuel maps) - fuel is added or subtracted based on TPS and manifold pressure. the amount of fuel added is directly related to a fuel map stored on the ECU's EPROM (its a bit more complicated than that, since there are a multitude of sensors, and the fuel map is adjusted based on the input from these sensors, but you get the idea). thus, with speed density, if you begin adding airflow, the computer does not know. it just knows that the manifold pressure is X. This is why adding a cam or heads creates a lean condition.

If there were an interface between the Speed Density EPROM and a laptop, where the fuel could be added/subtracted based on needs, THAT would be the idea setup. Speed density absolutely DOES have the same flexibility as MAF, it just takes an outside source (laptop/eprom utility) to adjust the fuel maps.

Well I'm at least one person you informed! smile.gif
