There was a 03 3500 that came into my work that was driving 40mph and hit a cement K frame in the middle of the highway. It looked like that but centered more on the low tie bar. The passenger hit the airbag and still puched through it and hit the dash and broke some bones in their face. The driver hit the steering wheel and bent it. All in all after totaling it from just looking at it the customer was pleased.
i dont know about closed in trailer rentals, but i rented a uhaul trailer (which was recommend for 45mph) and it ran great at 70mph with a car on it. I wouldnt recommend renting them cause a vette, depending on the year, has a low ground clearence and those tailers have two ridges that would gouge the bottom of the car and not allow you to get the car on w/o cursing a lot and broken shit.
just thought I would tell you in case you didnt know.
Sucks to hear about that.
*** If you need any parts I can get GM, aftermarket (wheels) for a good price just PM me with the car details and I could have it by tuesday/wednesday at a good price.
coming from a former neon owner. Dont buy a neon. I would put my money in something else. if you like the 4 cylinder engine get a DSM. cant beat their mods for the price and if you never really worked on a car before you will get your chance.
