    I've been trying to dig up the offset for these rims, I believe they are +38mm offset. I'll confirm it when I find a site that saids so. These are very light rims! They make it perfect for any sorta racing, be it autox, drag radials, or maybe not so much road racing because they aren't that wide. It'll get the job done as a daily driver, weekend warrior.

    I'll include the special lug nuts and key for the rims too. The tires still have 50% life left on them 215/50/17 kuhmo tires.

    So basically I bought this car off Mark, who he got off Trevor and so forth.

     

    Well after 2 days of driving it, I dont' think I'm a person that could sport a beater. I'm just too use to driving something decently powerful and good brake, this is neither to me.

     

    I air'ed out the car so it doesn't smell awful. The speedo doesnt' work(so the odometer isn't recording any mileage) The title also saids odometer discrepency. :confused:

    Car starts and drives fine, so if someone wants to beater, take it home. I think I'm just gonna go carless for a few weeks and make me more determined to buy a better car.

    ImportFaceOff.com is not updated with the Ohio show and registration details yet, so here’s some info…

    Over 25 classes including truck and bike categories. Classes: Best Interior, Best Paint/Finish, Best Engine Bay, Best Display, Best Mitsubishi, Best Toyota, Best Nissan, Best Mazda, Best Euro, Best Civic (amateur), Best Civic (intermediate), Best Civic (pro), Best Accord, Best Prelude, Best Acura (amateur), Best Acura (pro), Best Other Import (Subaru, Hyundai, etc.), Best Domestic Sports Compact, Best Domestic Car, Best Domestic Truck/SUV, Best Import Truck/SUV, Best JDM, Best Luxury, Best Exotic, Best Bike, Best Club Representation $200, and Best of Show $300. Trophies for each class.

    Well, its time for me to move on to bigger, better things, or just normal, slower daily driven car.

     

    Here's the low down on the car and history since I've had it.

    -old sony cd player

    -random amplifier that powers the front 2 speakers

    -2 aftermarket speakers in the front.

     

    What's been replaced since I've had it:

    -Rear Tail lights with the seris 5 lights.

    -New front calipers and rotors

    -Brake pads all around

    -Electric e-fan from a taurus

    -New belts and plugs

    -New starter

    -New clutch

    -seris 5 stero surround

     

    The icky about the car:

    -Needs alignment

    -Needs new suspension bushing

    -small rust spot on the driver side wheel well

    -just rusted out on the passenger wheel well

    -dent on the passenger side fender

    -2nd gear syncro is going bad, just pops out of gear around corners -sometimes(rx7 trannies are pretty cheap to get ahold of 200 or less)

    -some oxidize paint and dings among the car

    -175K on car and motor(Oil leaks from the oil pan bolt, easy replace)

    -needs indash kit

     

    I've abused this car and what not. It has not failed on me yet and I took PROPER care of the motor, if the next owner will do the same, this will last until 200k or more. Rebuilds cost less than 1k.

     

    I'm throwing in a Seris 5 bumper and fog lights, emissions, the seris 4 tail lights, everything I own rotary related into this car. Just random misc parts.

     

    I will post pictures later, anything else I missed on the car will be posted as well.

    SCCA, youre allowed to race if you have a wavier form signed by you and your parent/guardian. I think we'll do the same thing; gotta PM/email/AIM Driftz240 and ask him personally. Or come to outbrakemotorsports.com and ask

    You don't want new tires if you plan on drifting. Go around some shops and ask for use tires. they should sell you them cheap. Junkyards are also great. I'm a budget car enthusiast too, gotta keep the stuff cheap
