    Are you still getting the P0103 after replacing the MAF sensor?

     

    Those stock DV diapraghms are known to tear after some time, so that would be suspect to me. Diverter valves are plumbed in after the MAF so if the diaphraghm is torn it can cause idle problems that the MAF is trying to adapt to from the unmetered air. May not be a bad idea to force a TB alignment by disconnecting the battery and touching the ends together to make sure the system is drained of any charge. Once you give it power again, turn the key to ACC ON and you should hear the TB servos move and align themselves. Give it a few seconds to do its thing and then you can start the car. How many miles are on the car? Have the O2 or CTS sensors been replaced at any point? It doesn't sound likely in your case, but the coolant temp sensors can give these cars all kinds of trouble when they go bad.

     

    I suspect your gas mileage is in the shitter right now, too lol.

     

    156,000 miles yes, i still got that code after replacing MAF sensor

    when i cleaned the TB i dissconnected the battery for 1.5 hours and keyed on for 5 minutes minimum for the alignment. I picked up another MAF sensor today, i'll see how it behaves in the morning! it starts acting up after the engine is up to temp 15+ minutes.

    Yes replaced o2 sensor 1 on Friday as well. I also replaced the CTS (blue) when i bought the car 1 month ago.

    car keeps stalling at stops, jumping idle, but drive perfect all other times?

    Replaced: MAF sensor, ICM, spark plugs, cleaned TB 2 days ago!

    Checked for boost/vacuum leaks also. couldn't find any. but there might be one?

     

    Forgot to mention i did test my DV and it did not hold vacuum, but i would not think that would cause my stalling issue? mainly boost fluctuations, stuttering ect.

    Do you know anyone that might have a good one laying around for sale?

    Get the codes run at the parts store and report back. VagCom isn't the only thing that can pull codes on a VW.

    I have a good one. It has the valve body out and is prepped for a b&m shift kit. The tranny was quite clean upon dissasembly of the pan and valve body. I stole the boost valve out of it for another car but you can get a sonnax hd boost valve and sleeve and the b&m shift kit for cheap and you can have the tranny for 100.00 the only thing else you need is a valve body and separator plate gasket which are also cheap. I made sure I didn't bubba anything up because i was gonna build this tranny originally.

     

    I really need one that i can swap in and out

    like title says, I'm looking to buy an AOD for my 89 notchback w/ a 92 302 block carburated.

    looking to buy ASAP! I need my car to go to work and my 3rd gear is gone and i'm sick of driving slow on back country roads to work in 2nd gear.lol.

    If you have one let me know, also interested in a torque convertor for the tranny also!

    I need to sell my 89 notchback and find a better family car.

    1989 Ford notchback. Automatic, primer white. teardrop wheels w/ pretty new tires.

    This was a 4cyl car, swapped to V8. I rebuilt this motor 10,000 miles ago. I put new rotors,drums,calipers, pads and shoes on. holley external blue fuel pump. new wheel bearings.

    Electric fan,edel intake,Edel carb, K&N filter, E303 cam, Gear drive by proline??? Ford racing Radiator hoses, BBK shorties, BBK H-pipe, flowmaster mufflers and tips. 410 rearend!

    much more. All these parts have 10,000 miles on them. This is my DD.

    the undercarrage is rust free and the floorboards are in excelent shape,

    selling my 96 Merc Sabel. 137,xxx miles. V6, auto,Grey interior green exterior. Runs great, steering needs a lil of attention, the steering wheel is at the 2,3oclock position while driving straight. AC blows Ice COLD and the heat will melt you!

    This is in really good condition. We paid a few hundred for this new. we had our 55" plasma on it. We don't need it anymore cause I mounted it on the wall cause the kids loved to mess with the tv :)

    for a lil bit more money you can buy my 89 notchback i built last winter. motor has 8,000 miles on it. it is my DD and runs fantastic! Auto, 4:10 rear end. base tune with 10 degrees of timing it put down 228 and 255 to the wheels. I'm sure if you have Dyno Brian tune it you could get more :p I have all the receipts from the build which is more than i'm asking for. $3,200.00 firm.
