  1. That's a training issue with the staff.

well either way, hope you guys put on another one! best track rental i've been to in a while. i'm rebuilding the rear end now and i should be on slicks next time.

    thanks again

  2. I ran in the slick prepped lane all day on drag radials with no issue.

It is what it is, lesson learned for sure and it won't happen again.

The facility is very nice and I plan on going back for sure.

I was on drag radials and pulled into the right lane, guy stood in front of my car and made me go to the left lane.

  3. Of those who ran on non-drag tires did you have traction issues? I could get the '71 to hook up but the '70 was just a smoke fest. Even coming out of the hole essentially on idle then rolling into it even torque out of healthy 455 broke them loose until probably the 600 foot mark.

Interesting facility though, used to race there back in highschool and WOW is it different. From what I have heard they are still only using half the track? Almost no seating added to the place yet, so not sure if there's another "phase" coming or what but hoping for big things going into next year. Would be nice to have another quality track in the area.

I was on drag radials in an awd car and anytime I launched in boost I'd spin all 4 through first and second

  4. Fiero Turd went 12.55 @ 108.9 with a 1.86 60'.

If you were on anything other than a hoosier or full on slick you got shafted. That cone that was there on the left side was to keep you out of the groove so your DR's wouldn't "tear up the track for the pro mods that are coming in Saturday morning".

I know my car isn't the fastest but when you need to get a decent 60' to get a decent time and no matter what you do you can't hook for shit it kinda sucks.

Yea that was lame.. Every time I tried to leave in boost I burnt the tires off

Best 60' of the day was a 1.7 I believe (on drag radials)

Facility is awesome. First time back to 42 myself.

My car finally went faster AWD then it did FWD by 3 tenths.. went 11.6 @ 128. With a better 60' and some man shifting it should go 10s and then I can put it on a shelf or something.

  5. No one is bsing the time, they are bsing the exact mods the car had.

Doesn't matter, the only motor that belongs under the hood of an FD is a V8. Those cars deserve better than a rotary.

    hahahahah okay. right.

  6. The only thing RIDICULOUS is your lack of spelling and grammar.

Yeah, because "skold" had some superb spelling and grammar.

And you don't know/never even asked what my mods were. I never claimed my car was stock. Watch the video.. does it sound stock? I was running stock turbos and stock IC though. I'm friggen poor.

  7. I had a Turbo2 also. Working on it was a lot simpler than working on the FD. I don't see where he comes up with this shit though. I'm still confused by a lot of his points. Stock FD motor sucks? Whats better? Ported? How would that allow you to run more boost.. it doesn't. You benefit better from more boost, but can't handle any more. And stock seq twins cant run as much boost as I was running? Why? It just doesn't make sense. I have videos and time slips to prove my runs.. I have no reason to lie.
  8. Ok, lets digest this post. Stock IC can't handle passes like that? Ok. Sure. Stock turbos can't boost past 14psi without being non-seq? Are you serious? My turbos were still full seq and I could run 15+ psi. Sure, it was inefficent as hell. But it was possible. Stock FD motors suck? Please just stop. You're fucking retarded.

Yeah, my name is Billy. Was that a secret? It's in my profile for this site. And I don't think you don't know "doritos", I know you don't, from your retarded post.

And thanks for posting a video of my car running a 12.7, that was before my ignition amp. I was running race gas that night, and my stock ignition couldn't handle it. I could only take the car to about 6k rpms. You want a vid of my 12.3 run? Ok.. here you go.

Call bs now you fuck. You want a time slip?

  9. If anyone wants to know what happened, PM me, Eclipsed830.. thats not really what happened but okay. And I'm not lucky I didnt have a catastrophic failure. Well maybe my diff, but the motor was fine. My car was running pig rich even at 15psi. The stock intercooler sucks but I didn't let ait's get too high.
  10. Not to mention you pulled off a 1.7 60ft before with that car before, and have also trapped at 117mph multiple times. You just could never put a good run in.

Yeah, I'm not exactly a good drag racer =/

  11. Id keep with a low twelve unless you had a good about of work done, or a lot of driving skill. Only guy in c-bus with an 11sec rotor pass was Mike, and that was on *i use the term loosely sotck twins. IIRC

I think by ew he meant, he dosent like a more reliable motor which makes more power, better torque, sounds better, I mean I could go on.

I was on stock twins.. with about 300rwhp. You don't know about the accident so how could make any judgement?

And I meant ew because I'm not a big fan of v8 swaps in FD's. I don't feel like getting into a big v8 vs. rotary argument. If you like v8's thats cool. Just keep that shit to yourself, I don't go around preaching "rotary is god" to all you people, so don't preach your v8 shit on me.

Edit: and I said low 12/high 11 because my fastest pass was a 12.3 @ 115 with a 2.0 60' and I missed third. Probably could shave a few tenths off that time if I didn't slam 5th every time I shift into third because I suck at drag racing.
