Right before Bill Bader owned IHRA he tried to but Marion and Bill Guthrie would not sell it to him. I wish he would of. Do you guys remember how Norwalk user to be? It was almost as bad as Marion. Bader did a hell of a job turning Norwalk around.

Look up Lee Howie. He has the red turbo Corvette that runs in the 7's. I think the name of his shop is Howies Performance. Been a long time since I have talked to him so I am not sure if that is the name or not.

We used to race at Marion every weekend in the mid 90's. That track has always been a piece of crap and they refuse to sell it or fix it up. Bill and Shelby are just money hungry and if people keep going up there then they will keep operating the way they do. When our car first got in to the 8's we would have all kinds of problems getting the car down the track because of the track conditions and Shelby said it was our fault because we made the car that fast. C'mon now.

Yes I am and no we never ran a tube but to be honest we had the car on the street very little. That tire hooked the best for us.

I just got an 88 MR2 and I am kinda new to the import scene. I am very familiar with drag cars but not imports. Anyway, I am up for suggestions on what to do with this car. I have an idea of how I want the car to perform but not sure where to start. Thanks in advance for any advice.

M&H sucks. We used to run em back in the day and they suck. Get the Hoosier tire. We had a 9 sec nova that we raced in NSCA Easy Street and that is what we used.

Hey MX3Chick. Do they have anyone doing photos at the show yet? If not let me know or whoever I need to talk to. I do a ton of profesional drag racing/car show photos. I can explain more if need be.
