buddy has an 01 v10 f250ext cab auto with 83000 on it. has an 8in suspension lift on 38's.

Yea, I know the guy and he had it professionally installed at an offroad shop -
One other truck i'm looking at is a 2000 F250 with a triton 5.4 v8 with a 5spd. this truck has 128000 miles on it. Are the 5.4's noted as good long running engines? I just want to make sure i'm not buying a truck that has a history of problems because of its engine style thats all thanks for any future advise guys.

What are some pros and cons of having the V10 in this truck. What can I expect to look for when checking it out. This truck has 83000 miles btw ( truck sits on a 8in suspension lift on 38's) Thanks, Paul
