    You were absolutely correct. I went to bios and it had onboard sound on auto instead of enabled. I put it on enabled and boom. sound everywhere lol. thanks a bunch man

    its onboard, I dont have an aftermarket sound card in any expansions. So what do you think could be the problem?

    I installed everything right on the video card, it's just I don't have sound for some reason now and I don't know why

    Well, last night I installed a new video card and everthing is working well except for one thing. Now, I dont have any sound and my computer says I have no audio device. I'm kind of a computer noob so i'm lost at this point b/c I cant find anywhere on the computer to get my sound back. Any suggestions? thanks, Paul

    i think mine is going bad b/c the games I use to play ran fine before and now the same games are choppy and not showing full pixals of characters if that makes any sense

    nvidia geforce 6150LE I think. Came with the computer(hp pavilion desktop) when I bought it 3 yrs ago. how would I tell its a pci-e or agp?
