I'm not sure why it has such a huge wastegate on it, I read though that I might not be able to switch back to a stock internal wastegate because the flapper could be welded shut. I haven't checked on that yet though.

I just bought a 1991 Talon TSI AWD from madmax85 with 30K on rebuild motor, and 25K on transmission. It has the following engine/performance mods: spec stage 3 clutch buschur racing ported exhaust manifold HKS 50mm external wastegate 2.5 inch slowmo o2 housing 3 in mandrel bent exhaust w/cutout 2 in megan racing lowering springs It is my daily driver for now and I have a question about fuel cut I am experiencing. Whenever I gun it, boost will kick in around 3500-4k rpms and spikes up to 15psi sometimes (wastegate creeps past stock boost), around 5500rpms I will hit fuel cut and the car will surge until I let off the gas. I know the wastegate is too large for the stock turbo but is there any spring I can purchase for it to make it not spike such high boost or would I be better off going back to the stock internal wastegate?

I was on my way back to class this afternoon around 1:20pm, driving along on 270 East just before I-71S and a see a white pontiac grand am spin out and do a 360 across all 6 lanes of traffic. (they were in the far left lane, I was in the far right) I had to slam on the brakes, out of the corner of my eye I saw the car coming right at me. It missed me by about 20 feet or less, flew into the ditch and rolled about 5 times and landed upside down. I stopped and called 911 and a few truck drivers stopped to try and help the person out of the car but I'm pretty sure they were either dead or in very critical condition and couldn't be moved out. Anyone know if the person survived? I was almost late for class so I took off once the police and squad all got there.

I am selling my Passport 8500 x 50 red display radar detector. I have too many speeding tickets and I don't feel the need to speed every where any more. Okay, I have driven an RSX-S and a Celica GT-S, celica handles better and is quicker I don't believe in those statistics of the 0-60 times. Mine ran a 14.7@98 with exhaust and short throw. I raced a few rsx-s in the celica and beat them. And a 300lb weight difference is a decent amount to make up for the celicas lack of hp. If you are looking to mod then yes the rsx is a better car to have, but you also have to shell out the extra 4-5 grand for one.
