  5. I think it's funny when I'm driving a car that can't get out of it's own way people are always trying to race lol..When I was driving the green ek I could never get people to try and race..Anyone else have this problem?
  6. I have a p28 ecu moew and getting ready to have it chipped. I have a bad ass tuner that will set me up a base tune and just drive the car all motor for now until I get enough cash and research on what turbo I will use. But i can't wait even though it's winter I'm still going to put the car together and on nice days like today I'll take here out and play..
  7. I have a chipped ecu fro my other car but if i wanted to I could get the car tuned today if i wanted to lol.. I just dont want to mess anything up on a fresh built motor but from what i've been reading and told I might just break it in on the dyno

  9. Wow thats alot of different break-in options. I think i'll call darton and see what they would do and let them know what rings in using and what oil to break it in with.
  10. A street engine should be driven moderately for the first thousand miles, as follows: · full throttle high torque power useage should be limited and never be used until the engine has been running for at least 15 minutes. · from 0-500 miles, do not exceed 4000 rpm. · from 500-1000, do not exceed 6000 rpm. · over 1000 miles, no restrictions. Also, do not run at the same speed for extended periods during break-in. Make certain the engine is operating at proper coolant temperature and oil pressure. Do not allow the engine to overheat. Make necessary changes if required (radiator, fan, tuning) to get the engine to run in the proper temperature range. We also recommend you do not run synthetic oil until at least 5000 miles. Synthetics work so well that the engine will never break in properly if it is used too soon.
  11. well i'll read the daton sleeves or call them and see what they will recommend on the break it but right now I want the break in to be done correctly so when i do turbo it the rings well be seated correctly and then let the fun begin lol
  12. Will do i was just thinking about putting the motor in with stock parts just to break the motor in for 1k miles or so before boosted
  13. I didn't say i was going to push 1000hp I just built the motor to handle it lol..I seen a 525 hp eg hatch run 10.1 so that would be nice to do. So right now until my axles and mounts and twin disk get here i'm just dreaming and hope and wishing.lol But i'm getting 4 1600cc injectors and aeromotive pump and lines so I should have enough to push 600hp for now..I'm trying to figuer out what suspension to run and still ride ok on the street.
