  1. Thank you. I'm open to offers. I've lost interest in it. I know it will cost ~$3,000 to rebuild the t56 with labor and parts. Could be much less depending on who and what parts. I've destroyed my fair share of 6 speeds. Without even opening it I know it needs syncros and shift forks. I'd recommend a stage II kit from tremec. I'd rebuild it and sell it but again, I've lost all interest.
  2. Thank you Paul.

  6. He handled the situation wrong.

Retreat is prior to pullin your gun.

Why did he leave the scene? Was the other perp still there?

    How?

You can't always stay around a dangerous area after a shooting, sometimes you may need to leave because the scene is still hostile or dangerous, for multiple reasons. Possibly more attackers, maybe gang members are involved(sitting around waiting for more bad guys to show up is not a good idea)

Put yourself in his shoes, if two men walk up to your vehicle, start beating on you and try to rob you, fight or flight kicks in. How easy is it to retreat?

How easy is it to pull your weapon and fight?

Every situation will differ from person to person, I'd like to see more info on this case if possible.

  7. I have a Red Rider BB gun I'm looking to off load. I've been a terror to the squirl community here. Shoots dead on at 15 feet. Looking to trade, plus $250 cash from you. Interested?

    NO FUCKING WAY!!!!1!1!1!1

    Just what I was after.

  8. Yea i got an M&P9c. Just looking to add to the collection but not if thats the only deal for it. Ill probably end up going the 1911 route for the next pistol.

Right on. Good choice. 1911 is my fav. Platform

  9. Ok so yet again my unit gave me the wrong info. Its not the P226 but rather its the P250F 45cal. After looking it up and seeing that it retails for $468 and is only being offered for $400, it doesnt seem worth it considering the deal isnt that great for a firearm i cant shoot first to see if i like it. Looks like ill just pick something else up when i get home next month.

Ya f all that. The 250's are not worth $400 even IMO.

A glock or m&p would be much better pick up for a polymer gun in that pice range.

  10. I carried a sig p220(.45) and p226 in 9mm, and I owned a 226 in .40. Outstanding weapons, plenty of accessories, reliable, and Very accurate.

If you do buy one, buy the "aftermarket" mecgar mags. They are cheaper, have a slick surface, usually hold more, and work just as good. Mecgar makes the "factory" mags for sig that they sell with the 226's.

My only complaint is the trigger. I'm just not a da/sa, or DAK/DAO fan. But the da/sa configuration is the best IMO of the sigs. The trigger is smooth and has a very clean break. The 226 I had had the SRT trigger and I liked it much better than my 220 that had a regular trigger, which was a longer reset in single action.

Buy it, you won't regret it.

  11. You think the judge knows shit about guns?

    This guy could have:

    1. Bought another gun
    2. Responsibly stored the gun
    3. Left the gun unloaded
    4. Had a safety device/lock on the gun
    5. Not left the gun in his car
    6. Raised a kid with better aim or taught him to go for the head, eliminating these problems.

Sadly, with how gun ignorant and intolerant Cali is, I'm sure this will move on to more judges with their eyeballs so full of dicks that Glock will spend millions of dollars in legal fees and either

    1. Pay the fucker a bunch of money
    2. Not pay the fucker a bunch of money, and lose money on legal fees
    3. Settle out of court and pay the fucker a bunch of money

Seriously, fuck this guy. This isn't as bad as the woman suing in the Aurora case but this was his own fucking fault. I hope Glock countersues and wins the case forcing the guys son to go to a juvenile detention center for 15 years. Real good parenting, dad.

Couldn't agree anymore. This guys is a piece of shit looking to get money out of a situation that never should have happened. If this guy is this stupid and not responsible enough to keep his firearm safe, how in the hell is/was he a cop.

Seriously, I hope he loses. Glocks have been the same Since the 80's, proper training that he should have acquired would have taught him how to keep his weapon safe and secured at all times. 110% his fault.
