  1. It is indeed awesome, makes me feel like I did something right, I mean I bought a mustang and modded it instead of finishing the big block Buick GS in my garage so I have to make up for that mcsteak somewhere.. amirite?
  2. Anyone ever head of the T5 "Z" Tranny? If so is it worth swapping one in, in place of the stock T5? It supposedly has a 2.95 first gear and a .63 5th. Any opinions?

  5. Found out where my spare engine is due to my dad tracking it down left a message for his buddy waiting for call back its a complete long block pan to throttle body ill let you know

Once again im not arguing, First off I didnt know the car had a salvage title, Its not just you some guy in Tech Help posted that he wanted to convert his 86 Gt to carb and most everyone was like like uh why would you do that, Also I know how easy it is to make a big block make power In case anyone for got I have the best of the best big block in my garage buick 455 FTW, Good luck with the swap man I just wanted a few questions answered, I never said it cant be done there are plenty of 94-04 big block cars the guy up the street from me has one never talked to the guy but maybe if your nice we can go over there and you can take a look at it haha.

All im saying is plan accordingly as in quite a few hundred dollars more than originally planned for it and yes fox and you car as similar but not the "same" I have a 97 gt and an 88 gt and they are really by no means the "same" im not trying to argue with you I like your car I think its one of the nicest looking GT's on the board just wondering what inspired you to go big block...

I just dont see any reason to beat up a clean newer stang detail that thing sell it get some good money from it buy a fox with a big block already in it and profit, I see big block or roller foxes on cl or ebay for cheap, I guess my personal opinion would be not to mess up a perfectly fine car and put something in it that will cost more and require more time than most likely anticipated, Just my opinion but I would rather have a properly done big block notch or lx hatch than a new edge car that will require some crazyness

True I agree with people above you can easily spend a few hundred bucks and go to carb but like stated above you either need to dial your fuel pressure way down, get a non intake pump new distributor/ignition and intake and carb, talk to 88lx50 on here about carbed street 5.0s. My buddy just had a lot of problems with his stroker vert that he went carb on which will be for sale on here shortly, Leave the FI and get some mild mods and you will have great driveability, they didnt make fuel injection kits for old big blocks and other older cars because the factory carb is better...

  13. Yea I Figured thanks, I have a new tranny lined up and most likley will be going 31 splined stuff soon ill be interested in kit once the car is safely ready ha

  22. Also in 1993 ford did NOT used the forged pistons and the 93 cobra had a weak ass thunderbrid cam it was only rated at 235 over the stock 225 hp 5.0s any other questions?
