  1. I recently saw a story on the news that people vacationing in Hawaii were renting U-Haul pick up, vans and even box trucks to use as their vehicle while there. Standard rental cars were going for $600/day.
  2. Axios is also reporting that Trump announcing his bid to run again in 2024 is effectively a done deal, so we get to hear him crow for another 4+ years. It's tiring to hear his narrative all the time, even in the rare instance he's right on a topic. Hoping that Twitter puts a muzzle on him once he's out of office.

It is my understanding that if Trump decides to run again that there would be vastly greater oversight on his Election Fraud slush fund of $230 million that he conned out of his followers. I think he will continue to threaten to run but I doubt he follows through.

  3. I just rented one to clean out the basement. The 10 yd was $250 for a week. I checked a few places and they are all pretty much the same price. You need to find the closest one to your location to avoid additional mileage charges. I used Say Dumpsters in Marion OH. No issues, great service.
  4. Well, I think it's cool that you can now buy a sporty version of just about any car. They never had a Camry "sport" 10 or 20 or 30 years ago. And now you have Camrys and Hyundais and soccer mom crossovers that are more powerful than many "fun" cars of the 90's. That's a great thing IMO. It's not lame unless you are talking about a Camry as a fun car, but one of these would be neat for a daily beater.

It may not have been named a sport model but Camry was promoting the performance of their V-6 models way back in the 80's.

  5. The Hills Market in Worthington has a solid selection of bourbons. I second the Jefferson Ocean Age, that is my favorite. But at $90/bottle it is not my daily bourbon. OPA in Delaware has whiskey/bourbon/scotch tastings once per month and the guy that proctors the tastings is incredibly knowledgeable.
  6. I raced both years that Pinks All Out was at Norwalk. Had fun both years. It was nice to run on a track that was actually prepped. I set a new personal best every run. I remember so many people trying to enter that first year that the phone lines broke. I never did get through until later in the day and put myself on a waiting list and ended up getting in a week or two later.
