Roll racing is much easier on drivetrain parts. I like having a car that handles great too. The people that bash roll racing are probably ones who can't compete.

I just caught the tail end of it on my way to work this morning while flipping through the stations.
They were talking about being able to hear all the rice burners flying up and down Main St. (I'd assume in Reynoldsburg) every once in a while and were talking about how they used to do it back in their day.
They also mentioned that the racing isn't as bad on Main st. as it used to be. The did mention, however, that large groups of people still meet on Main to plan out there races before taking it to the highway.
Just wondering if anybody else caught this conversation?
They were talking about Marietta, that's where one of them grew up.

ddperformance.com will have all the answers. They sell kits and they are one of the biggest manual trans distributors around. I have had one in my car since 1996. It would probably be more trouble than it's worth trying make one work from another vehicle.

Not to hijack, but how many 1/4 runs can you get on a bottle?
It depends how much you are spraying.

Windsors are 28.2 oz.-in. balance. I would just go to a Ford dealer. I don't know how much power you want to make but, the BBK 1 3/4 headers fit really good. I had the MAC ones on my car for a while and they don't fit nearly as well. The ball and socket style exhaust (like factory) have no gaskets or leaks. The Ford engine swap oil pan kit is nice too M-6675-A58.

The first gen Lightning came with them too.

efi.....
will a 2.02 intake valve clear a stock piston in a 351?
if it will I'll just drop it in, if it won't.........
You will have to check it to be sure. I had a set of Canfield heads with 2.02 valves and a small hydraulic roller, no clearance issues.

I wouldn't stroke it unless you have to have new pistons. You would probably be surprised how well a Windsor will run with the right heads, cam, intake, etc. Is it going to be EFI or carb?

Races 4-5 I ran out of spray. That's why we ran the last one on the motors. The car had a 150 shot on it at that time. I hope we can do it again this summer, Tilley's car isn't the only one that got some major upgrades

How much for the fan shroud?

Edelbrock performers or aluminum GT40's. Don't get anything cast iron, they are literally twice as heavy. These heads are inexpensive and they would take 50lbs. off the nose of your car.

Wheel Medic refinished my stock rims a few years ago and I was very pleased with the results. I also have some 10% off coupons if you decide to go that route. Give me a call if you want them. Their work is 190 m.p.h. approved!!!

I ride a Cannondale F600 now, I also have several old GT's and a few Haro's. If anyone has any old freestyle bikes laying around, let me know.

It probably makes around 210 rwhp. Cylinder heads are where the power is at.
E7TE heads are good for a door stop that's about it.

Maybe Pike's Peak but not in Nascar. Toyota's Nascar V8 Shares pretty much nothing with any of their production offerings. Hell, it even has a Chevrolet bellhousing bolt pattern.
Right on. Toyota hasn't done anything innovative with the pushrod V8 other than take designs EVERYONE else had and put them together.

not fair we cant compare anythign youve brought out to being mild lol
but you are right i hope to be there
I wasn't implying that my engine is mild. Just putting in my 2 cents.
-
Why bother with the turbo if you would be happy with 600HP. A mild Windsor with a small shot could get you there.

What is the part# for the radiator? I may be interested.
