Might as well be. My 240 is still on jackstands and my jeep is getting ready for paint and a lift. So all I have left my beater (95' Corolla). Once this damn move is over its time for a new car! :fuckyeah:

  12. Chasing hail is good money. I did it with my dads company. It just wasn't consistent and being under cut by competitors was bad. With lawn care being under cut isn't so bad since the product sells itself. The price for service is also so cheap that you should have no problem selling.
  13. Our highest paid salesman are in management as well so they get a hefty base, commision, override on all sales made in the room, company cc for gas, work materials, etc and other perks. As just a salesman off commision only I was in the top 3 for the company. I grossed $998 a week often and never dropped below $810. If you call me I can explain things better. Marketing area is residential. Door knocking is in season now so it is all about contacts and creating a need for the cnsumer. Unlike car sales you will be pursuing them to make sales. It takes some getting used to, but once you get your feet wet you will be golden.
  14. Hours are Mon-Fri 4-9pm and Sat 10am till whenever. Which is usually until you hit your goal for the day/week. I did auto sales before coming her and barely knew anything about lawn care. I picked on quick and my first week within 4 days I made about $600. Then every week after that I grossed at LEAST $810 a week. Im a little better off now due to being in management, but that goes to show how easy the work is. We are also a newer company that is in its growing stages. So I promise that if you can come in here and hit good numbers this company will take care of you.
  15. BUT grossing $1k a week should be easy given your sales experience. Then we also offer you a cell phone check or company phone, reimbursement for gas on all sales made and much more. Plus we are not a large corporation, so the small local feeling makes you feel wanted as an employee.
  16. You might be looking for more than I could offer right now. Although if your a good salesman this job should be a cake walk. You would just be a salesman though. We only hire within so if your expecting more then I can't help you.
  17. Call me if lawn care sales sounds interesting. Im with a smaller company and we work a little different than Scotts/Trugreen. Im not sure what kind of pay you were making as a car salesman, but if you put in the effort you can easily gross $1k a week working with me. Plus only work part time hours! Sean 614-446-8793. You can call anytime this evening. I will be in the office till about 9:30pm.
  18. 2 acres will cost a lot to properly treat btw. Especially after you factor in the cost for labor...even if we are using a permagreen to spread.
  19. Not all apps are weed/feed apps with most companies. Some will do the grub, aeration or other things on separate trips. Also 6 fertilizer apps is not too many in a year if your using the right product. Now if it is a high nitrogen based product then yes that is too many and will burn up the lawn come drought. Or worst case scenario allow the turf to lose immunity and get disease. The right fertilizer along with some treatments and nutrients for the soils will give the best results. Im proud to say that my company DOES use the absolute best products in this region hands down. Oh and we just switched to Imprelis weed control. The shit is awesome...but better be for $1400 for 2 1/2 gallons lol.
  20. Half way there....im up to a 5. An ass shot might bump you up a few more :masturboy:
  21. Lower it.....buy mustang wheels (factory bullets are cheap)....get wheel spacers.....install....walk away from it
  22. That makes sense, but he said that he never had an issue doing it that way. They still came back every year in the same spot. I just weighed them and they were 4.9 pounds. Calling Huffmans and Hills tomorrow morning. Then gonna get paid for having a nice hike with my lady ;-)
  23. Nope.....but might give mingo a shot though. My gf has a close friend who has been hunting mushrooms his whole life. He told her to pull them out at the base then cut the very tip off before cooking.
  24. Here is what I found within about 20 minutes of searching. Check out the cigarette pack for comparison :-) http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a88/seandb20/2011-05-01_19-27-39_195.jpg
